For Those Of You Against Taken

this is a march against taken. i personally am not against taken but i joined in bc it seemed fun. it all started when i went to a secret club room and i sat in one of the many blue chairs in the tent room. and then someone went on stage and started talking about no taken, bay be etc. and it was this big speech. and then the owner said to go to main street south and here are some pics (btw, i am on my other character in the red tank top and flips and pink pants):

This looks like it will do nothing but lead to getting all of you banned for "harrassing" other players. Staff have already said taken and that kind of stuff is not against the rules (VMK Values) and as long as it doesn't get pushed over the lines set it will be allowed.

I've actually heard of a couple of people getting banned for saying "make out" and "makes out". Not usually 10 year bans unless they're repeat offenders, but bans anyway.

OK, could I try ( in my own small way) to explain the "Taken" thing?

It is not against VMK values in any way. Staff has said this over and over again, ad nausium.

CL-OutOFMyMind ( hope I spelled that right, lol) and I both have, "Very Taken!" in our signatures. It is because we are truly best friends, and I was dared one night to ask him if he was "taken"

Hey, I took the dare, he accepted. And yes, we are quite taken with eachother.

But I must point out that we never go to where "taken" can get the kids into trouble. The only problem with "taken " is when the kids get carried away.

I have to add, that I hate the "bay be" thing; but what can you do

LOL! That made me laugh. Most of the people who are taken on VMK change "boyfriends/girlfriends" atleast once a day, in my experience. It's like The O.C. on fast forward, haha.

I don't mind the taken/not taken business. If you're for it, that's great. If you're not, I wouldn't waste precious time on VMK worrying over it, hehe. I do think the "bay be" things are a bit ridiculous, but I'd be careful about threatening to burn one. While I notice you joined the group as a joke, I think they're collectively taking things a bit too far. I also wonder if anyone has been banned for participating? Hm...

That is hysterical! I will admit that I would be worried about getting banned for a demonstration like that but I'm all for it. Personally I thought the burn the bay be was funny After all, the rest of us have to constantly see that taken and bay be crap all over the site. It's nice to see someone else get their turn to speak out on it for a change.

But yeah, I got nearly banned for trying to explain to someone that I was married and had kids so I am surprised the make out thing didn't get banned or that you are even allowed to say it.

now this is a funny thing i saw it was a guest following a guy. the boy is in green and so is this girl because she "bought it just for you". obviously the boy doesnt want her but she continues to follow him and it was funny to watch and the boy had to change twice: from green to everest suit to baseball suit but she continued to follow him and then i got dc. here is the pic (btw i am the one sitting in the pink dress and bird hat):

Correct, Alien. Taken is NOT against the VMK values, harassment IS. PLEASE be careful with these "demonstrations". You could find yourself banned.
Remember. If someone or something is bothering you, click on their avatar then click ignore. VMK is for everyone to enjoy, whether you are "taken" or not. Whether you play "bay be" or not. There should never be a reason for fighting over this, when the ignore button works so beautifully.

why are you guys blaming this all on me? i didnt start this. i didnt even say a word about no taken or bay be. i am not against taken or bay be. i had a few boyfriends and a daughter. i just joined in for fun. the character i was on was msmagicprincess. do you see any words bye me besides when i said "im here"?
