We went year before last on the 4th of July and spent the day. We were staying in a hotel in Mt. Laurel. I got sick from eating too much salt water taffy!! There was a huge problem with the fireworks and they stopped them within the 1st few minutes. Aw, now I want to go back!!!

Can anyone recommend places to stay for a weekend?

We always buy a bunch of 1/2 price tickets now and use them during the summer. I remember that 4th of July when they had to stop the fireworks because the wind was blowing the ashes and soot onto the football field where a huge crowd of people (including us) were watching.

I have stayed there... OC, NJ, is on thing that I miss since moving to FL. My aunt owns a home on Park Place - first house off the beach- the family has owned it for as long as I can remember. I have fond memories of visiting OC and staying with them, as wel as visiting OC on day trips off from work with girl friends to "soak up the rays" and read (that was in the 80s!)

There's nothing like the OC Boardwalk!!!!
