For those looking to book CRT online with DDP credits

I found out the hard way today that if you are planning to book CRT online using dining credits, it cannot be done. I followed the prompts that explained that I would need my reservation # and to enter my c.c. # just for a guarantee. It specifically stated that I would not be charged once I pressed continue. Well, I pressed continue and surprise...I was charged a few hundred dollars! I called Disney Dining and I spoke with a really nice Cm that assured me it could be fixed. She said that people are having problems booking online with the DDP. So, she set my reservation for me and cancelled the previous one. She then issued a credit, which as we all know takes a few days to post on your account. So, lesson learned!! I hope this will help other first-timers!!

For some people it charges their card...for others it does not. There is no rhyme nor reason why it charges some but not others,

I had no problem linking my CRT reservations to my DDP. I put in my credit card as a guarantee and it was not charged. However, we paid out of pocket when we got there since we had other meals that we could get our monies worth on the plan (we had a CRT breakfast).

I was pleasently surprised...the breakfast food was great...plentiful with all you can eat...the service was wonderful...and the castle was very bright. The characters were a bit rushed...but we got to see them...and the look on DDs face was priceless. Enjoy.
