I hate to ask because I am one of those people who is too depressed post Disney trip to even get on Disboards, but HOW WAS IT? What was the dinner menu order? Did you go to Endicott? (the cruiseline blog is saying the Wonder is in Endicott arm today).

It was absolutely amazing! We were fortunate to have beautiful weather at every port. The pictures do not do it justice. We did travel up Endicott instead of Tracy Arm but Endicott was still so wonderful. We were able to get much closer to the glacier than I expected and I believe it was a bigger glacier than the one down Tracy Arm. We loved the naturalist talks and the Disney Shows on board. Frozen was such a great quality production. I don't remember that much about the dinner menu order other than the Frozen menu was our 4th night and Tiana's place menu with the beignets was our second night in Tiana's. If you have anything else specific you want to know, let me know!

What excursions did you do?
Did they actually have the Pixar party and the frozen party?
Did they give out snowflake necklaces again?

In Skagway we booked the Yukon bus and Rail with Chilkoot which I highly recommend. It was a great quality excursion. The pickup instructions were very clear and went well. Our tour guide mike was awesome. We stopped at so many places to take pictures that the big busses didn't. He pulled over and pointed out a lot of wildlife including a bear! The lunch that was included was pretty good. The train ride down was really good. I'm sure cruises later in the year will be more crowded but we were in a half empty train car already when they came in and told us there was another empty car behind us and asked if anyone wanted to move. It was us and one other couple in a whole train car which was awesome.

In Juneau we booked a canoe paddle and glacier trek with Above and Beyond Alaska. This is another excursion that I would highly recommend. It was our favorite and one of the most amazing things we have ever done. We canoed across mendenhall lake, explored an ice cave, and walked on the mendenhall glacier. It was like being in another world! So worth the price and the effort of the canoe paddle to get there.

In Ketchikan we booked through Disney the boat ride to the Misty Fijords. This was a nice trip but probably our "least" favorite. It was still amazing scenery and we saw several whales and eagles. It was an enjoyable trip but just didn't wow us the same way the others did.

They did have the Pixar and frozen parties but we did not go to them and yes we did get the snowflake necklaces.

Sounds awesome. We are going in one and a half weeks and can't wait.

Who is the Cruise Director?
Any pictures of the Castaway Club gifts for this year?

Oh shoot. That totally messes up the dining rotation I had figured out. Sigh. I'm so glad you mentioned this! Thanks.

You'll get the Tiana menu one of the first 3 nights since that is when the signature menus are served.

Didn't the pp just say it was on her second night there? I thought same as you originally, bit it doesn't seem to be the case...

I would love to hear about the Alaska specific merchandise. I don't think they ever announced it this year. Anything special to watch for (we don't sail until August)?

Yeah same here. I am a bit confused but am also wondering if I had read on a prior report of a 7 night on the wonder that the beignets were not on the first time through.. ugh.

This was the menu we had on our second night.

The first night at Tianas we had the menu with the crab dip and my main course was turkey and dressing and dessert was flourerless chocolate cake. Our dining rotation was APTPT. So the menu at the link above fell on our 5th night.

The only souvenir I bought was a wooden Christmas ornament that was shaped like Alaska and said Alaska 2017 and also said Disney Cruise Line with the DCL logo on it. There wasn't that much Alaska specific merchandise that I remember. A lot of DCL merchandise but not a ton of Alaska. They did have some nice looking Navy jackets that said Alaska on the front. We don't buy that many souvenirs since we mainly like to have the photos so I am probably not the best person to ask.
