it seems this year the mosquitos have been a bit worse, at least from what i've read from Oct trip reports.

how have the mosquitos been lately, for those who just returned from WDW?

Hi!

We just got back last week and didn't experience any problems with the mosquitos. We stayed out every night until Epcot closed and I don't think that we even saw a mosquito! Hope this helps.

We were there Nov 9-13 and those little pesky buggers were very active in MK - Toontown and Fantasyland - we actually had to leave Toontown due to their nefarious activities...In Fantasyland, around Aerial's Grotto/Pinocchio Haus - once we were near a lot of people in the more active areas, we did not notice them (maybe there were better dining options other than us in the crowded areas)

Epcot FW and WS no issues with them
OKW HH/Goods to Go etc. area - no issues with them
DTD - no issues - but it was pretty cool and wet there when we went

Did not stay late enough at AK or MGM to report from there

thanks

Just there from the 5th through the 16th. No problems with mosquitos.

We were there 11/14-11/21 and didn't have a single problem with mosquitos! But I did bring off bug spray just in case

On Nov 14th we had our first cold wave here in Florida, mosquitos don't like cold or cool weather so as long as the tempatures keep getting cooler at night they wont be so active.

We just had a "big" news story about making sure to use bug spray if you are out at night (especially dusk and dawn). Just because it is cooler here, does not mean the mosquitos are gone. The news guy said you will continue to need bug spray until the first real freeze. There are still mosquitos at my house and I am about 25 mins from Disney (but Disney has much better pest control than I do;) ). I say bring the bug spray, better safe than sorry.

DH and I each got four or five mosquito bites, probably happened at the Polynesian beach after dark. The bug spray I used seemed to help the kids, but it didn't prevent me from getting bitten. We were there 11/15-11/22.

and had one night (a week ago) where we got some bites. After that, nothing.
