I have a request to make if you're going to Disney soon and hopefully someone will be able to do this for me. When we were there a few weeks ago, I got a temporary tattoo of Mickey. While i was looking at the other tattoos that they have, i saw one of the whole "gang" (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, etc), the kind that would look good if you got it across your back or something. I wanted to take a picture of this tattoo because i'd LOVE to get a permanent tattoo of this at the bottom of my back. Could anyone PLEASE take a picture of this with their camera phone or digital camera and PM or e-mail me with the picture so i can take it to a tattoo parlor with me to see if they can do it?? I would SO very much appreciate it!!

if you don't find that particular tattoo, you should check out the choices they have for the design your own t-shirts (the bargain ones) on Disneyshopping. they have some very nice, clear designs that would work VERY well across a lower back of various character assortments, including the main ones of course.

thanks everyone for replying so quickly. the temporary tattoos are located at different carts, i don't remember seeing them in any stores. the two specific locations that i saw them (and got the 1 that i got) was in Downtown Disney near the World of Disney and at the Pop Century resort, near the Hippy Dippy pool. I'm sure they have them at other places, i just don't remember specifically seeing them anyplace else. Thanks again everyone!!

Hey! That's the temp tatoo I have on my ankel right now. But it's pretty worn out. Mickey's head is gone for sure. I never thought of it on my back....great idea!

I got mine at TL, but I know I saw it at ASMu and MK. I also wonder if you could find the image on the internet somewhere.

on my last trip i got a mickey tattoo. a permanent one, that is. another idea for you would maybe be to use google images or something and see if you can find the picture and print it off yourself?

BTW, I have absolutely no idea how old you are and whether or not you plan to have kids. However, this is just a little FYI on the lower back tattoo thing. I have read that women who have the lower back tattoos cannot have epidurals during labor b/c of the ink in the tattoos and the risk of infection, yadda, yadda. I have absolutely NO IDEA if this is correct information or urban legend. I'm just passing it along so you can research it and make an informed decision. I had an epidural for both my kids and I would hate it if someone who wanted one couldn't have one because they didn't realize the consequences down the road.

That being said, I think it'd make a great tattoo. Maybe just not on your lower back.

thanks again everyone - Remember the Magic, i did what you said and searched under google images for "disney gang" and they're good pictures but they're not the same as the 1 i saw at DW. i just absolutely loved this one and i'm so mad at myself for not getting the picture myself while we were there!! i'm totally regretting that!!! Chilihead, i'm 32 and we're definitely looking forward to having children and i had never thought that getting that tattoo would prevent me from having an epidural and God knows I hate pain!! So anyway, i did a search on google to see if that's true or just an urban legend like you said it may be and thank goodness it says that it is an urban legend!! whew!!! so now i can follow through with my plans on getting my tattoo!!

I'm really, really sorry, but I didn't find it. I have to say my looking probably wasn't terribly adequate because of the chaos of being with my mother. I hope someone else is more on the ball than I was. I'm really sorry about that.

BTW, on the lower back / epidural thing: I talked with my brother whose friend is an anesthesiologist. He says she refuses to do any epidurals if there is a lower back tattoo in her way. I know you found it was an urban legend, but apparently there are those who still won't do it. My suggestion is to consult your doctor to make sure. You don't want to fool around with no epidural!
