For thos who did the 2006 marathon/half

Has anyone gotten their certificates and race recap yet? I know they said they'd be mailed out in March and March is ending rapidly. Just wondering if anyone's heard anything....Anxiously waiting...

DW received her completion cerificate 4+ weeks ago but I have not received mine yet. Neither of us received the recap book. I think the certificate was sent to make sure it did not fall between the cracks as her finish information had to be entered into the system manually because her chip was lost before the race began.

I have not heard of anyone else besides DW receiving anything yet.

Nothing has arrived here for me nor Susan in MI. I eagerly check daily and I know Susan would call me the moment it landed in her mailbox.

That said, remember that the race packets were mailed in late October and most of us didn't receieve them in the mail until well into November (almost Thanksgiving....) so it might be another few weeks yet.

I believe it was Disneefun that posted in a new thread that their certificate(s) and recap arrived, if my memory isn't completely shot they were in NC?

Susan and mine didn't arrive again today. Keeping my fingers crossed for Monday

Yep, mine arrived on Friday (and I'm in NC). I don't know how they're sending them out (my last name starts with "D" if it's alphabetical, and I did the goofy if they're sent by race -- no idea though, might be completely random). I watched the recap last night and it made me cry. I wasn't planning to sign up again this year due to a december cruise, but now I might have to, having been reminded of how much fun it all was...

I got mine on Saturday for the half and the full. Was not a special "Goofy" certificate. The CD-Rom is nice...it's making me think about doing it again next year.

My wife did not receive hers yet, so who knows the order that they are doing the certificates. Maybe they are doing the Goofy's first??

Did your wife do the half or full? Interesting theory and it seems possible since we've only heard from the Goofys so far. I hope this doesn't mean us Donalds won't see ours until Easter! LMBO

They send you a finishers certificate, a little pamphlet that summarizes marathon weekend and a CD rom (I never looked at mine last year, so no idea what is on it).

A nice little walk down memory lane.

My wife did the full. I will post when she receives her recap. We are both doing the DL 1/2, and we have convinced my brother to do it as well. Should be a good time. We have reservations at the Ramada Maingate Saga. It is within walking distance and a good value. We have stayed there the last 2 DL trips.
