On the left side of a post, under your name, you can put some stuff in but the tag fairy can also put stuff in. From what I've seen the tag fairy hovers around and either tags you with something that you wrote or replies to something you wrote.

Hiya everyone.
Feel a bit guilty for saying this but i'm one of the lucky ones that doesnt go back to work until 4th Jan.. So today has been another relaxing(ish) one. Watched the original Italian Job this afternoon, with Michael, ("You're only s'posed to blow the bladdy doors off!!"), Caine. Love that film. Sheer brilliance

Hi Jessie ,

I just had the 24th, 25, and 26th off. Friday and yesterday were awful, very slow; the days dragged on. It picked up a little today, but it was still a long day. I don't know if I'll be offered OT this weekend, or how much I'll accept. I'm going to see my kids one of the days, and watch bowl games on Monday. The winter is when I put in the hours. Summer time, and a week at Disney in the fall or winter is when I play.

Hiya Jim,
Im the total opposite and work OT from spring til beginning of winter. After that I try to stick to my normal hours. I hate being out when its cold and icy . Would rather be inside with the curtains closed and low lights on. Feels nice and warm and cosy. Think in my next life i'm gonna come back as something that hibernates through the winter. Maybe a hedgehog. But knowing my luck i'll be a spider and get squished
You wouldnt want OT on NYE, would you? Thats party time

I saw you on the Oh, Tag Fairie thread. I had just posted on that thread that I was feeling guilty and was going to come here and shamelessly bump the thread, but now I don't have to; I'm replieing to a post.

The clique will be two weeks old tomorrow. People did get tags once the thread was started. I think most of the members ould like a tag; they're not anti fairie, they're just tagless at this time. It seems that after two weeks. the consensus of the members is that if you join tagless you will always be a member of the Tagless Clique.

OT on NYE wouldn't be a problem; I'm done at 3:00 in the afternoon. Going back at 3:00 AM on the 1st would suck. If I work on Monday the 2nd I'd only work 8 hours and punch out at 11:00. A bunch of us go to one guys house for football (not soccer) and a turkey dinner. I don't know if know, or care, about the bowl games, but January 1st used to be a great day for college football. There used to be four major games and the (sometimes disputed) national champion was decided. Now there are (I think) six games on Monday, one of the original 4 bowls doesn't even exist any more, and the national champion won't be decided until the 4th or maybe even early in the morning on the 5th. Really, realy, really sorry; I'm getting carried away.

I hate the winter too, but that's why I go to work then, instead of in the summer. Well I still have to work in the summer, but I'm trying to find a way to avoid that.

Dont apologise for being carried away by something you really enjoy To be really honest, I dont understand American football, or soccer. But one of my ambitions is to go to a live game just for the atmosphere and to shout for peanuts!! Yes really!! Does that really happen or is it just in films? If so, I really feel sorry for those guys. Must be a nightmare

You Guys are just too funny. I love baseball and scream and
yell for a hit. Then my Dh looks at me funny but who cares. You
younger people have a lot of years before you retire and then you can
do what you want and when you want.

well, i have over 10,000 posts and feel like a tagless one at times.

i received my first tag after 8 posts, the second at 11 posts and the last at 15 posts.................it's been a dry spell ever since.



something about tags that makes us try to earn them. sort of like a recognition i guess.

i was dumb and stupid when i first started dissing here and didn't realize the love of tags. now that i have been around for a number of postings, i want more. just like a kid in the cookie jar .............

i don't know how the tags come to be. mine all came from the universal boards. i see most of the activity on the disney boards and community board.

wishing and hoping you all get zapped by the tag fairy sometime down the road.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean about feeling sorry for those guys; what do you see in the movies? I live just north of Boston (I put Boston as my location because I thought/think it would/will give most people a better idea of where I'm from). It's more than cool to shout for peanuts; that's how they make their money. The Patriots play in a suburb of Boston and have lots of parking available for a fee. You can park there and have a tailgate party; you can set up a grill and/or a makeshift bar (usually a grill and a bar ) The Celtics and Bruins play in Boston and it's great; there are street vendors all along the way. Fenway Park for the Red Sox is the best! I've driven in, but the subway (tube) is the best! You come out of the subway and right away people are trying to sell you something; slices of pizza, sausage sandwiches, and baseball caps.
