The Beatles book that came out maybe 2 or 3 years ago was really good--loads of photographs, personal commentary from the Fab 4 and others--enjoyed it immensely. I can't remember the author's name but it's more of a coffee table size book and quite cumbersome. If you are a major Beatles fan, there may not be a great deal of "new" information--but it was still a nice diversion.
I love anything by Maeve Binchey, Dean Koontz (Sole Survivor is my current read--not sure how I missed this one, but it's good), Stephen King, John Saul, and an author I'd not read until recently, Barbara Erskine. I have just finished Midnight is a Lonely Place and before that House of Echoes--wonderful! Sadly our library only has her first novel (Lady of Hay) and the other two mentioned so I'll be requesting from another library I suppose.
I love to read!
