Second snowstorm this week! Plus we had one last Wednesday. Thanks for the sympathy!

Thanks. :goodvibes

I'm not a fan of winter either, but the kids are happy - another day off from school!

LOL Thanks for the sympathies.

This is getting absolutely ridiculous!!!! We're already buried under a couple feet of snow and now another 6-8inches coming today and THEN they're talking another BIG storm next week (Tues/Wed)

I've lived in New England all my life and I'm used to the cold, the snow, the ice.....but c'mon. LOL This is just insane!!!

This is our 4th snow day since last week and we have another 2 -3 months to go :scared1: I mean, I don't mind having days off of work (the baking, catching up on cleaning and scrapbooking) but I also like to get paid (we don't get paid for snow days) :sad2:

Day by day I'm looking foward to our cruise more and more. Cannot wait!!!

LOL This has been a bad week. The kids have gone to school for 1.5 days this week. Driving me insane.

Our homeschool groups planetarium field trip was cancelled today because of the snow. The sun is out and it's shining brightly out there. Must be the ice under the snow that caused the school's cancellation where the planetarium is.

I'm ready to move to Florida!!!! I hate the cold... it hurts!!

the forecast map says we on the border of the 6"to 12" and the 12" to 24", depending on where the persistent bands go - fire up the snow thrower!:)

I really hope we get less!

ETA: well we are now right in the 12" to 24" range!!!!

Syracuse has had 106.7 " - and we are north of there in the lake effect band zone, so we've had more than that - and not one snow day. DD is thoroughly disgusted!!!!:rotfl:

At this rate, the kids will be getting out of school in mid-July.

Please send some my way. Somehow every storm hasmissed us. If there is a cup-shaped break in the storm we are in it. Its like we are in a vortex or something. lol We have gotten nothing this year!

4 snow days and 2 delays in the past 2 weeks. Plus we had MLK day off, too. I'm a 12-month employee so I work all year anyway, but it sure does make the school year longer.

Hammered? Maybe I am not NE enough. But last year we had 82" of snow, and this year about 15"..... Last year we were hammered. This year is on pace for just a little bit more than average.

This weather is disgusting. and they are saying we are going to be hit with another BIG storm on tuesday, they are predicitng another 12" or more.
BUT as bad as the snow is I am not looking forward to this weekend at all. they are saying the temperature will be in the negative teens. I am locking my door and not going outside till April.

Thanks! :cold:

I drove in to work this morning and couldn't drive any faster than about 20mph - for safety reasons! Fortunately there were much less cars on the road.

So far 6" + 20" + 4" + 19" + 2" + (4" + rain) + 8-10" = Hammered when you consider we're only halfway thru January and more snow is predicted for next week :faint: .

Where are you? We are way past 15".

Thanks! :cold:

The drive in was not good! Took me 45 minutes when it usually takes 20.

Yup...crazy. My yard hasn't been without snow for weeks! Makes for great sledding but even I am getting sick of the white stuff.

:crazy2:

Luckily, we have only had one snow day. My DD's school really doesn't cancel unless it is an absolute necessity. Not sure how I feel about this cancelling school stuff before it actually snows though. :confused3

OP - thanks you.
