Okay - I'm a woman lurking to see how you guys think. This is interesting. I'm glad some of you think Kiera is too skinny - I agree. I really don't think she is pretty. but what do I know, I'm a heterosexual married woman, right? I think Catherine Zeta Jones is the most beautiful woman!! My husband agrees. He also likes Lindsey Wagoner (go figure!). Scarlett Johansen (sp?) is really pretty, but my husband doesn't agree with that one. He likes Nicole Kidman I think. I don't think she's pretty without make-up...too pale and pasty and skinny.

Me, I'm a Johnny Depp nut. As are most women.

If you are a KK fan like I am see some of her lesser known films like The Hole or The Jacket. She is totally hot in them and the movies are good as well.

She is also absolutely breathtaking in Love Actually. There's a funny note in the DVD commentary from the director/producer. Keira asked to finish up her scenes early and be excused from further shooting to go do another movie. They gave her permission, but counseled that (1) there is no market for pirate films anymore and (2) a movie based on a ride at Disneyland is the dumbest thing they had ever heard of. Was she sure she want to do this movie and possibly harm her emerging career?

This is where DH fell in love with her. She's a little young for him, but she made his "list". Thats o.k., as long as I can have a couple of her co-stars from that movie (Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Alan Rickman, Hugh Grant, or that cutie Andrew Lincoln she played opposite, any of the 5 will do! ) he can have Keira!

What was surprising to me was that she could look so completely different, yet equally astonishing in both movies.

I've already told DW that she can have her Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt as long as I get Keira Knightley and Drew Barrymore.

WHAT?! I've seen Catherine Zeta-Jones in "Entrapment" and she looked absolutely ANOREXIC! Her waist was so tiny that I wonder if she barely outweighs Keira! Keira looks alright. I wonder if what appears to be anorexia is also based on people's opinions of what a person looks like.
