I could not agree with you more about the quality of people on this board. Having met a fair amount, I can say unquestionably that you are so very correct. I think you have a pretty good shot at a DISmeet record too. Hopefully I will get to be one if my Sept trip plans fall into place.

I know!! I am so nervous about finding out my assignment! I know working anywhere will be cool but there are a lot of rides I would kinda be disappointed with. It's a Small World is definitely one of them! I could not stand that song for that length of time!

I thought it would be a nice thing to do and I hope they enjoy it!

I keep forgetting to post this but if you are going to Disney at any point between May-January let me know! I really want to have the most DISmeets, as humanly possible, in the next few months I basically want to win the World Record when it comes to DISmeets so make sure to let me know! I have always found the people of the DIS to be some of the most supportive and friendliest people I know so I want to meet more of you!

Count us in for a meet sometime between July 19th and 26th. Actually, Brooklynn, Bella, and I will be coming down on the 16th and staying at Boardwalk with Anita (wigdoutdismom) and Marc. Then on Saturday, Jill, John, and Sophie join us, and we'll be moving over to Pop. I'll let you know our schedule closer to time. Anita has a castmember friend that works at MK. Maybe we can all set up a meet & eat, and we'll buy your lunch. I'm guessing a 'poor' Disney worker is pretty much always up for a free meal.

Nothing to be scared of with us - we're just a bunch of plain, fairly nice, down-home folks with country accents. Not quite Beverly Hillbillies, but leaning toward that way in a jet-setter's eyes, I would imagine.

Keep in mind that if you did get Small World, you'd probably be in a rotation with other attractions in that area, like Peter Pan for example. You will also rotate through different positions at each location, like greeter, tower (watches the security cameras), loading, exit, etc. Mine at Wonders of Life (RIP) were greeter, making of me, cranium command photo and theater, plus some random jobs like sweeping or "making magical moments".
