For the DIS Ladies only... (no men allowed)

No, we don't. There used to be a May company when we lived in Ohio though.

The big ones are Hecht's (aka Strawbridge's if I am getting it correctly) and the usual Sears, JcPenney, Macy's.

We don't have Dillards or Kauffman's here either (I remember those stores from my Ohio days as well)

Hecht's is one of the May company stores. :teeth:

Suite Disney I am with you. I have never found any bra that is at all comfortable (and I have had people try to fit me) so I figure why bother. I do have one that I will wear when it it necessary though.

Really? Its still known as Strawbridges here, so it's hard to keep track of it... I know the local store names stayed the same, but the receipts is something different.

If Strawbridges is Hecht's then Hect's is the May Company... (this sounds like a word problem from my math course).. Suppose one woman....

I think they have about 20 different names for the stores, and they expect us to keep track of them. Luckily we don't get someone with a credit card we don't recognize very often.

LOL! I'm thinking the ones that would open this thread are definately NOT the blushing type.;)

I saw also somewhere.. a skinny strap tank top, with a bra built in, but not a little teeny shelf bra.. but a real one with cups.....

Has anyone ever tried those type of tank tops? I think I saw it in Target..

I'm wearing a tank with a built-in underwire right now. I susually wear my tanks with no bra, but they have to be clingy and can't be thin, or it just doesn't jive. So I thought I'd try this. It's very comfortable, but of course I'm a 34B. It does look a little funny to me because there is not much holding the 2 underwires together in the middle, so they tend to splay outward. I'm just anal. I want the underwire lying flat against my ribcage. I like the shelf bras a little better, but then I'm no "D."

I love bras by Triumph...made in England

They are pretty, supportive and make you look smaller!

I joke with my best friend that the only bras she could find are in the "Lunch Lady Bra" section of Wal-Mart.

..that is until we discovered Lane Bryant! I have one, and my best friend has one (granted I'm several cup sizes smaller, but I still need a large band) and they are *so* comfy! Padded straps, wide bands, and they were on sale. Lately they have been putting a lot of bras on clearance, so you might want to check them out.

It is so hard to find comfy bras anywhere for us full figure gals. After BF 4 babies I grew from 38C to 42DD. Try finding ANYTHING in that size that doesn't look like something from the 50's. And I'm only 36 so I'm not wearing any granny bras!

I don't like underwires either. They always poke me. I have found Olga to be one of the most comfortable bras around and also Jog/sport bras but they don't usually pair well with thin straps.

As for Vickie's - with all the fake boobs in Hollywood you would think they would carry larger cup sizes! I've never found anything in there that would fit me and don't think I ever will.

LOL.
