This was too large for a pm. We bought the 3 1/2 floppy that contained my dd (below) and also the family picture on it.

Oh my! that stingray is huge! Thanks so much for letting me get a better picture (pun) of your great experience. Now I can't wait to do this!! This pic was done by DCL?

Wow, you're up! I just pm'd you, too. Yes, this was done by the photographer on the catamaran with a digital camera. At the end of the trip, when they dock, you can see all the pics they took of your family and you choose which ones you want and they put it on disk for you, if you choose that. I did, so that I could print up as many copies as I want. Looking at it again gets me all psyched up to go again. My daughter gave me permission to post it - now she's all pumped up again to go. She says she'll be less nervous next time to hold that huge thing.

yes, I'm up...the West Coast you know. Actually just got back from a grad party for my neice and nephew...high school and college.

When do you guys go again..June? Let me know if you end up at Mr Sanchos. It sounds great. The digital pics look great. That is another reason to use DCL...I like the idea of having great looking pics for such an awesome experience.

I just updated my countdown to show July 5 - didn't realize I forgot that! dh will probably win this battle (I always give in ) so I doubt if we'll go to Sanchos. Ahh, but if I could get him to read these boards... Congrats on your grads - how exciting!

Why doesn't he want to go to Mr Sanchos? I read these boards NOT my DH. He just relies on me to give him the info but he is only interested in the info as the cruise gets closer. We were last on the cruise in July 2001 and booked this 3rd one then. So they are not getting excited and more ready to hear the info..as it nears. Did you get a good deal on your flight? We are flying American for 256. pp round trip. I got this price back in November and booked it because it's the cheapest I've seen coming from our area. There is one stop but I couldn't find any direct flights anymore.. It's a long way to go for a cruise, huh? We may try the Voyager next time around since I have older teens and I hear the voyager is even better for that age group. We have only cruised DCL so don't really know what else is out there...I want to get the family stingray picture....what a cool xmas card that would make....different.

He was just happy with Chankanaab and the kids really had a great time there. This is our 4th trip to WDW - since we bought into DVC. We usually do a week at a DVC resort, a week cruise, a week at a DVC resort again. Only this time we're doing AKL after the cruise since that place was just incredible and we can't get enough of it!!! I have no idea about airfare -dh does all that but we have the frequent flyer miles (including all the phone offers, credit card bonuses, etc) and get some tickets free. The only other cruise we've done was back in '89 on Sitmar cruises (which became Sky Princess) - ages ago. DCL is soooo much better than that memory! I like the boards because it's so informative - I'd much rather hear about other people's experiences than what is posted on some company's website. Dh only likes to hear if things have changed; otherwise he doesn't really care. It's my obsession alone in this house.

We had bought into DVC a few years ago but recently sold it. We just didn't think it was the right timeshare for us since my kids are getting older, they don't care for the parks (but love the cruise)so other than the cruise, we wouldn't get the most out of it. Also, since we will try to go on the Voyager next summer. You DH sounds like mine....he doesn't really want to know things either, unless it matters or big change, etc. He appreciates me finding out all I can beforehand because he likes to go prepared but that's about it. I'm the only one on these boards also...My boys are looking forward to this cruise since they haven't cruised since 7/2001.
