Does anyone know where I can find room locations for BCV? Also, assuming I can find where the rooms are located is there a number that I can call or fax for a specific room request. We're going with some friends this coming August and 3 out of the 4 of them have never been to the World and the one that has been there hasn't been there since it was only the MK. So I'd really like to get rooms (our first two nights will be in a studio for each family and the last three nights will be in a 2 BR) that have the best view possible, hopefully of Illuminations. This will also be our first trip to our home since buying last May.

Here is a link with some room reports and it will give you some view comments. http://members.aol.com/InstImpres/beachclub.pdf
This will give you an idea of “sectional views”. It is extremely difficult to ask for a specific room (as well as trying on the CM’s). With the new room ready policy, guests have reported getting several choices at check-in and this may than help

I suggest you call MS and add your requests to your ressie (i.e. non-smoking, Illuminations view etc.) They will do there best to meet them but there are no guarantess.

The file is in adobe acrobat and which can be downloaded from this site for free:

Good luck

Just remember to make your requests general. Requesting a specific room will only lead to disapointment. There is almost no way they could accommodate that request.

Just a word of warning about getting worked up about the room view. I requested a top floor room with an epcot view, I received neither. I spent so much time gathering information about room numbers and I arrived early for check in to make sure I got what I wanted. I got so aggravated at check in I was setting myself up for a dissapointment. And you know what? Once I got into the room I loved it. Sure it wasn't what I asked for, but requests are just that. That trip turned out to be fantastic and I learned not to get so caught up with getting my requests. Have a great trip!

I'd also suggest making general requests for rooms. If your request is too specific (and unavailable) it can certainly lead to disappointmnet.

Here is a <a href="http://disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=257950">BCV configuration</a> report that may also help.

Enjoy!

rooms...that have the best view possible, hopefully of Illuminations

Remember, that is the room that almost everyone else who checks in is also going to want. Don't be disappointed when you aren't able to get it.

Thank you so much for your help. This is just the information that I was looking for. I know that requests are just that, requests and not guarantees. But at least now I have a better idea of what to request and will know when we check in what to choose if given a choice.
