? for photoshop users

If I scan in a coloring book photo, Is there any way to paint color into it? I worked forever last night and could never get it to work, all the colors were grey and black.

Do this alot. After scanning, or copying, it in you may have to convert it to RGB color for it to color right. A GIF will not work as that format has a limited color palette.
