What is the 'official' stance on a 'waiting list'?

Is there a 'waiting list'? If so, how does someone get on it?

I know there are some people who may be interested.

Right now there is no 'official' wait list. We will be opening the convention back up for additional bookings sometime soon (but most likely not for at least 2-3 weeks) for both the room/convention package(as we have a few extra rooms because of a couple cancellations) and event only. I’ll post more details ASAP.
