? $ for Pearl Necklace

Hello, I know I have seen it somewhere before but could not pull it up to find out how much the pearl along with the necklce costs in Japan. Could you give me an idea of about how much? I thought the pearl was under $15.00, how much to have it put into a necklace?

I forget, but I think mine was around $40 (pearl+cage, but no necklace...I already had one). There were different styles available, and perhaps if I had the pearl pierced, and put on a necklace, it would have been about the same...I'm sorry I don't remember more. They also have a similar spot at DD, perhaps someone on the theme parks and attractions board can help you.

Thanks for that info! I would like one and 13yr old DS always gets a girl in his class a B-day gift and thought this would be nice. A little more expensive than I thought it would be. Is the ring about the same or more? Is it an adjustable one or you buy your size? How costly are the earrings??

I believe the store at Japan offers some setting options in sterling silver that would cost less, but still look nice. I did the pearl one time and got a very attractive pearl. We had it set in a very simple gold setting (ring) and it was between $75-$100 total. This was about 5 years ago though.

I did the pearl thing for my daughter which that part was very inexpensive but the setting was a 14K dolphin that cost $125 not including a chain. They had cheaper settings however she had her heart set on the dolphin. I didn't realize it was that much till afterwards but it was a fun thing to do. That was about 3 years ago.

We did this at the Pearl Factory in DD last week, and it was fun! The pearls were $12.99. My daughter had her's mounted in a dolphin charm; mine was done in a ring. I think the dolphin charm (white gold) was about $90 plus the cost of the pearl and my ring setting (yellow gold) about $150 (my pearl was free). The rings are not adjustable, so you'll have to know your ring size.

I got my pearl mounted in the dolphin ring setting and it came to about 150 total for the ring and then for the cost of the pearl. It was an expensive purchase but a great memory of the trip.

If you have a rental car you can drive to a new mall that opened on International Drive called Festival Bay. There is a Hawaiian store in there called Hilo Hatties that sells the pearls and settings for FAR less than WDW. There is a large counter in the front of the store with all sorts of pearl jewelry including the pick-pearl option. You can also find a lot of souvenirs here that are found in the Poly gift shop at half the price.
BTW, there are lots of other stores in this mall including a Ron Jon's.
