Leaving for Disney next week (WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!) I know we'll have to check our daughter's carriage at the AP check in,but don't they also have the carriage waiting for when you exit the plane? I think I remember seeing something like that b4. Thanks

You wheel the stroller down to the jetway and "gate Check" it, then when you deplane it is waiting in the jetway for you.

just make sure when you check your luggage you get a sticker for the carriage. if not youll have to leave the line and go get one. thats what happened to us, no one mentioned that we needed anything for the carriage.

We just used the stroller to get the kids right to the boarding gate- then they gave us a tag for it and a stub to hold onto. They took the stroller right at the door to the plane and put it down below.
When we arrived in Orlando we waited right at the plane's doorway and someone brought the strollers up to be handed out to waiting parents.
They call it Gate Check.
It worked very well and we could use the stroller to help with the carryon bags through the airport when our kiddos wanted to walk.

We also gate checked our 3 strollers. It worked out well for us. We had also bought some stroller bags that 2 of them fit into one bag and then put the 3rd into the other bag. It kept the strollers together and kept them from getting dirty down in the hold. It also protected them from damage.

We flew to Disney last year and our stroller & another passengers was damaged! I guess I was naive to think something like that would not happen, but it did! One of the handles actually broke off of my stroller (it was not fun pushing a stroller with one handle around Disney for a week) and the other strollers canapy was ruined. Just wanted to give you a heads up so you wouldn't be shocked like me! (it was our 1st time flying with our son) The airlines don't cover damaged strollers.

Just ditto'ing with the above postings. We flew to Kauai in March with our almost 2 year old and we gate checked her stroller on each flight and had no issues with it waiting for us when we got off. Have fun!!
