No matter who wins next week, they'll have one heck of a mess leftover from Bush to try and clean up.

I think it will take a couple of years before either of them can be held accountable for the state of this country.

The economy will not suddenly get better (or worse) and the war in Iraq (and all the money spent over there) won't end suddenly just becuase person A or B gets sworn in next January.

I'm so tired of this whole election business. I am ready for it to be over even if Obama wins. Then, I can sit back and watch the mess. I am sure if will be sad, yet entertaining as well. And I will feel very grateful that my vote didn't contribute to it.

You could replace the name Obama with the name Bush, and that's EXACTLY what I said 8 years ago, and then again 4 years ago. Imagine that!

I voted for Clinton and was planning to vote for Hillary. Unfortunately, Obama and the party messed that up so now I'm voting for McCain.

LOL That's exactly what I was thinking!

Remember, Obama said "I WILL do this" "I WII do that". He didn't say "I'll TRY to do this and that."

So...

that means he's making promises. That means he feels confident that he WILL be able to accomplish the big CHANGE.

So if he's that confident, don't make excuses for him if he fails. His overconfidence will be his own fault, not Bush's.

On that note, I truly hope he does well for our country. I'm not voting for him, but I will support him if he wins.
