That is an absolutely beautiful dress, and you look absolutely beautiful in it also!! I agree with the silver accents, but don't overdo. That dress is spectacular on its own - you want the dress to stand out, not the accessories. And open-toe shoes are perfectly fine - Now for the fun of shoe shopping... and bag shopping.... and new earrings and necklace....!!!

I just wanted to thank everyone for their opinions on my attire for the wedding this weekend

I will make sure to post a few pics (as long as I don't look too full of Kungalooshes! ).

I am sad to miss the events on VMK this weekend and hope to hear many stories of how everyone got prizes by going through the mazes. I won't be home until late Monday night so will be missing the festivities. Have a great weekend and will hopefully be catching up with you all Tuesday!!!

where did you buy it? and was it terribly expensive or was it on sale? (purple is my fav color so i loved it even more!)

i bought a dress on a random sale a few months ago at davids bridal. loved it. and it was purple too!

Found it at Hecht's for $113. A little more than I wanted to spend but to me, it is priceless! I was more excited about the fact it wasn't black! I have color in my world now Thank you for your thoughts

Alright ladies! Here we go. This is the ONLY picture that is ok enough to post (the other is me after all that Kungalooshing, if you know what I mean...and DH will not be sleeping well since he took that pic!)

Here we are after the wedding (sorry, I had shed some tears and it shows ). You can not see my accessories, but I did not over do it! I did get lots of compliments on the dress

Those were the bridesmaids next to me in the red! Don't they look beautiful? It truly was a wedding I will never forget!
