For my friends in the Northeast

The good news is every bit of our 2-3 inches here in Seymour, CT was gone by 2 PM!

We were forecast for a "Trace to 3 Inches" over this past weekend (Here in NE Pennsylvania). Nothing on Saturday (was actually quite nice). Nothing on Sunday (Cooler but still nice. I even did some "Spring Cleanup" outside for several hours). Nothing on Monday (but much colder). I was thinking.... Hey, I guess we didn't get ANYTHING. So later on in the day, as I was cooking Italian Sausage and Kielbasa on the Grill, it started.... I think I counted 5, yes FIVE very large Snow flakes. (they were actually quite huge flakes). That was our storm.

I guess that means we were on the "TRACE" side of the forecast, right? :cool1:

Indeed, this winter has been very mild for us. Not complaining though. I don't mind the lower heating bills.

Forecast for NW Vermont for tonight, 1 - 3 inches. Tomorrow Snow and freezing rain changing to rain in afternoon. Same for Thursday.

I'm sorry! Here in E.TN. sunny N a bit cool, then thunderstorms Thursday. Clear skies for the first weekend in a while,so can get the Runaway out for for a good bath.

Pollen flying here in MS. Black truck is currently yellow. That's better than covered in white.

I can totally relate to this!! I wanted to go camping this weekend (the state park closest to my house opens April 1) but Mother Nature just had to send rain, gusty winds, and temps in the 40s!!

We pick up our new rig on Monday morning. Of course once we locked in that appointment and I got the day off for it, they forecast snow and rain all day! I went ahead and booked a small camping trip for next weekend though, just to give it a shakedown cruise and get my camping fix after a long winter. Weather not looking great for that either but should be good enough.

Just cut my grass for the second time this year. Anybody got some lotion for this sunburn?

Oh, wait...you're still getting what?

BOO BOO "...................... April fools gave us a cruel joke, had snow Friday night into Saturday, but all melted by noon on Saturday. For us Midwesterners, this is the time of year Mother Nature teases us, scares us, and challenges us. Today is high of 60, thinking after church an UTV ride on the trails in the county. Sunday-Funday!! Tiger dad, hope your sunburn is okay!!.

3 inches of snow this morning made for a fun commute. Blinding blowing snow, roads snowy and icy. By 430pm was sunny and 37 and I still had snow on my truck.

What is this grass you speak of ?? My yard is a blanket of white SNOW !!

Up in the 60's past 3 days, today, Sunday 29 for high. Not much better for the rest of the week.

Probably should have cut the grass on Saturday. Weather was okay but getting colder. Woke up Sunday, and there was a dusting of snow on the ground. Not a lot but enough to be annoying. Cold all day with winds upwards of 20 MPH.

We definitely need to mow but the grass was covered in snow and ice today. Hopefully it will warm up soon. My son was scheduled to take a motorcycle riding course today, luckily it was cancelled because I hated the thought of him riding when the temps were in the 20s.

Brrrrrrr! Riding a bike would not be fun when it's 20 outside! Finally cut my grass on Monday it should have been done earlier but I'm the kind that likes to give it a little room to grow first. Hope everyone thaws out soon and can get their camping season started. For us Fort Wilderness in just about 10 days! Woohoo!!! :-)

Still no grass cutting here today. It's pouring rain and cold today. No wind though which is a first this week. For some reason we've had more wind than usual. Soccer was supposed to start for the kids this weekend and three of my kids are also referees. Sadly soccer got cancelled already because of forecasted snow. The players aren't too upset but the kids that lost out on cash for refereeing are disappointing. Somedays I regret living here, we are all ready for warm weather and outdoor fun.
