Marshay those shirts are adorable!!!
Tyler is now officially a homeschooler and one thing he is excited about is I told him we would have art class. Our first project is making hand painted shoes. We'll see how those turn out. My nieces have adorable shoes that were hand painted and even cheep jelly sandals from WalMart that have ribbon added into big bows and fabric shapes glued to them that have people litterally stopping them asking where they got them from because they want some. So Tyler wants Boy shoes. i think he's wanting pirate stuff. Where's TAT??? She would be so pleased my son wants skulls!!! Not that I've agreed to that part yet!!!

how are you feeling Marshay?? You are getting so close!!:goodvibes And hey I'm using some of your nursery ideas in my SS class. They are Finally ALMOST thru with all the rebuilding/ fixing damages etc... courtesy of IKE so once i get carpet in my class i can start fixing it back up!!! And I'm using the vines to create a more jungle feel on one side.

AAAhhh Chele I sure hope you start feeling better. No I want you to feel GREAT!!

Oh, do you have pics of your niece's shoes? I'd love to see them. That sounds like fun to do, too.

Definitely post pics of your skull/pirate shoes. That sounds so cool. Are you just using a plain white canvas shoe? I never thought of crafting shoes before.

So, homeschooling...wow! I hope it works out well. You'll have to let us know.

I'm feeling ... major eh! If it weren't for my feet all swollen and sore, I'd be much better. But somehow all my weight in the last few weeks went straight to my ankles and when your feet hurt, everything hurts!

LeeLee -- forgot to say, that I'm very happy I gave you some inspiration to design the SS room in a jungle theme. It's really easy to do and turns out nice.

I would recommend that you get floral wire (I chose green) to wrap the vines around the hooks you are using in the wall. That way if kids pull down on the vines, they are {less} likely to fall down.

When Elizabeth is able to stand up on her own, we'll have to raise them b/c they will be too tempting for her to pull off!

Oh I remember the feet!!! i wore ballerina houseshoes as shoes to church the night my water broke with Tyler.

About the shoes. My nieces have a pair of Tennis shoes that our cousin bought as plain white keds. She then painted the entire outside pink and then painted little brown, white and pink truffles on them along with some fabric flower cupcakes i think it was that she glued on. My nieces are 2 and 6 and they have these really cute truffle candy dresses from gymboree that match. So she made the shoes to match exactly. She then took brown ribbon and painted pink dots on them to match the color of the shoes and used the ribbons as laces and double tied a big fluffy bow to the side. Originally the babys shoes well actually she's 2 She's just real petite, still in 12 month outfits. Anyway originally they had the elastic instead of shoe laces. She cut those out and made ribbon ties. I'll have to get some pictures and send you. Then we made bows to match for their hair. I've decorated flip flops and hand painted some designs on Tennis shoes before but i had never done the whole thing like she did. She has boys and she buys white hightops and then paints them however she wants them. They look really professional. The shoes she did for my nieces looked every bit as the hand painted dragon shoes my sister bought for Braeton that originally cost $125. So I'm gonna try and see what we come up with.
I think I'm going to do some for myself for our WDW trip!

LeeLee, that sounds fun. I would do that for my self but my feet are so wide I have a hard time finding Ked's wide enough for my feet.

Lee Lee -- so what kind of paint and glue do you use for the shoes?

I really like this idea -- I try to buy one Gymboree dress each spring or summer since I think they are adorable and having matching shoes would be terrific.

Matching shoes and dresses would be so cute.:goodvibes I used to dress the girls in matching clothes until Kacy was in about the first grade when she requested that they no longer have matching clothes.:sad2: I loved them in their matching outfits.

Hey LeeLee

That is cool that Tyler is going to be home schooled for rest of the year.

Aere you going to put him back in school next year or continue to homeschool him?

Art class sounds like a lot of fun

Hey, LeeLee and Michele!

DH and I just got done watching American Idol -- I thought there were some really great ones tonight, although I didn't know 1/2 of those Michael Jackson songs...was hoping for the popular ones but I think everyone was afraid to do them (except Anup, and then he got criticized for it...)

Anyway, DD3 was sick today with bowl issues so she couldn't go to preschool ... I admit I was a bit angry b/c I feel like these are my last few days and I couldn't get out to enjoy them or run final errands. (Bad Mommy!) But DD and I did read a bunch of books together and at one point she turned to me and said, "I love reading books with you mommy!" And of course I forgot all about the errands and such.

Kids have a way of cutting to the chase, ya know?

That is so cute though. And they have such a way of making us feel like they are the grown ups.

Hey Marshay! I'm going to buy us some of the supplies we need for Tylers shoes tomorrow. I'll let you know what kind they are. My brain is just blank right now!!

I understand how you felt today. Both kids were sick today and I was a little upset because I didn't even get my alone time in the Shower. Braeton kept coming in to ask me stuff!! And I don't have a baby on the way!!!!

How are you feeling by the way??

And yes kids just tell it like it is and make you forget all the whys, whats and ifs!!! How sweet of her. These are the days to cherish that's for sure. They go by so quickly!!

re: the supplies, thanks for letting me know. I really want to try that, maybe in later spring.

Today I actually felt pretty good but then when I realized DD was sick, it just went downhill (partly b/c I'm afraid I'll pick up whatever she has like I did last week.).

I had my final OB visit today and when I got my blood pressure checked it was 143/86 which is tremendously high for me. I told them it was frantic this AM with DD screaming that her poo poo hurts, etc. So they redid my BP at the end and it went down to 127/83, so doc was ok with that.

Still not dilated at all...so guess Monday will be the big day...
