When is his yearly may visit? I always forget. Close to Memorial day?

We always schedule the trip around his meeting which is always the third Saturday in May, whatever that date is. So we usually go up to his Mom's first for a few days, go to the meeting and then leave Sun or Mon to head down to see you. I hope we are still going to do that this year. He wants to go to Vegas in April. It all depends on when we move to our next place because if he's still in Louisiana he has tons of free time, if we are moved and he's starting on a new project, then he has to stay put.

I'm glad you got to get out and have a good time. I was actually thinking of taking off and driving to Florida on Saturday just for the heck of it. But then, my common sense kicked in and I just went to Virginia for the weekend instead. I had to go south! I am so sick of looking at this snow. I am literally going stir crazy. I hate snow and I hate cold.

I had some surgery done last week. I only had two little stitches. Hopefully it doesn't leave a scar. They told me to stay out of the sun for six months. Yeah right. They don't know me very well.
