Actually we only pay like $6/month for our lawyer...it's one of the nice benefits that DH's company has. So I guess I'm not very "high" on their list...:rotfl2:

We signed up for them b/c we knew we'd have to change our will/trust once baby was born...figured they'd be good enough for that.

:scared1:

Wish I would have had that when I was doing the whole custody thing. Mine was $200 an hour! Set me back over $30,000. I wish my sister would have gotten into that kind of practice, but she works for the government instead.

Speaking of the van, I've been meaning to ask you...

I know you said when you got it that they gave you some kind of deal for $2.99 a gallon gas or something like that. Are your gas prices lower than that now? And if they are, what happened with that whole thing? Did you get some kind of a rebate?

32 here would be a heatwave right now. It's freaking cold outside.:sad1:

We ended up not going that way. We were able to get a van that had like 15,000 miles on it for a ton less. And it has a good warranty and I have all of the nice things like the seat heaters, leather seats, dual climate control, stow and go seating etc.. I am so glad we didn't go that way, but the gas that had been $1.61 last week is now $1.95.

I've been wondering about that too. When gas was like $3-4/gallon it seemed like a good idea ... but then we paid $1.53 two weeks ago (today is $1.69) and I was thinking all those poor folks who signed up for 1 year contracts must be mad...

It isn't often I see gas in your area cheaper than it is in mine. It's $1.79 - $1.89 around here.

Oh, okay. Sometimes you're better off doing that. You still got all the features that the other one had too.

I can deal with the gas prices now. But my mileage pay for work is down to 11 cents per mile. Blah.

Blah is right. Does that even cover the wear and tear on the car?

I don't wanna cook dinner tonight. I am thinking that I want fast food but I am wanting Hawaiin fast food. Do you guys have O'hana's back there?

Well, that's in addition to the big $237 a month car allowance I get. I usually end up with somewhere around $700 a month. But my car has depreciated so much with the amount of miles I've put on it, it probably doesn't pay me to drive it.

I wondered about that. Plus do you have to pay more for the extra mileage on your car insurance? We do in California.

Hawaiian? We don't have any options for Hawaiian dining around here. If you want Mexican, Chinese, or Italian, we have them. I didn't even know there was such a thing as Hawaiian fast food.

Oh it's wonderful. Yet another reason to come to California. The weather, the food, Disneyland , and San Francisco.

They make me carry it for work anyway. Something about it being business insurance?:confused3 I dunno. I don't ask questions. Just pay the damn bill.:lmao:

Believe me, I want to! And I could really use a vacation right now. I need to get away from it all, ya know?

Yeah, my Family is always bragging about how gas is cheaper in Reading, PA area than in Northern Virginia. I must admit I've been really happy to tell them for the last 3 months or so that our gas is like 10 cents to 20 cents cheaper a gallon.:lmao:

This is the perfect time of year to visit the bay area. People make the mistake of coming during the Summer and bring only Summer clothes. Summer in San Francisco leans towards cold and foggy. Ooh I wanna go to the city.

What?!? Even the govnt (used to) be 25 cents a mile...

Me neither? I never heard of this...

I remember it being like that at some point last year too. I went to my sister's and actually made sure to fill up there before I came home. Usually, I wait until I'm at least halfway through Maryland then fill up. That's one good thing about my little car, I can make it there and back on one tank of gas.

Hmm, wonder how long it would take me to drive. Don't know if I want to get on a plane after the last "incident.":)

At one point, I think they were up to 58 cents a mile or something. I was making 18.something then. They use that car allowance to screw with me.

So I'm playing with the DVC Point Calculator (computer site that shows how many points to stay where/when) ... trying to see when we can go to WDW next...thinking (ok, make that hoping!) Sept, Oct or Dec...
