Meant to comment on the whole "band" thing...

I love the fact that (sorry I forget her name) the person who is the lead singer can't sing! That just made me laugh!

But you know there are certainly some worse things than doing a band ... and as Ann Landers used to say (I think it was her): "this too shall pass".

Actually I do get "sucked into it" if I see it is on ... it is a funny movie. My DH really likes it too and is one of you guys who quotes it.

I actually quote the Rocky Horror Picture Show much more. I think that may the movie I hav eseen more than any other. Ah yes my misspent youth.

Kody has it all planned, they are going to get famous enough to get on Oprah and then they are going to retire because they will mean they made it. Oh and Kody's stage name is Velcro. So I have a Velcro and a Lettuce.

Oh, I can't even imagine what those teen years will be like...

It is scary to think of the little one's as teenagers Especially with the attitude I see at the age of 2 1/2

Honestly, I never good have gotten it done without the help I have had at times. I think it is actually easier to have them closer in age because they are companions and entertain each other more. It is more expensive but I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world.

I don't remember the name because they were putting so many different names out there. So far it is the two girls and Kody's best friend Karina. They have stage names and everything. Kacy's stage name is Lettuce. I don't remember Kody's because she has changed it so many times. They are going to be a folk band. Kody will play accoustic guitar, Kacy will sing (they have forgotten that Kacy cannot carry a tune in a bucket with a lid and a handle. And Karina will play her saxophone. Oh and I forgot Kacy's friend JC is going to manage them. I can see it now. They want me to get a digital video camera so they can upload videos to youtube. I will keep you posted.

Yeah, if we are going for number 2, I hope it is sooner than later. DD would love someone to play with.

about Kacy not being able to sing! I cannot wait to see the you tube videos...that should be fun! I think it's neat they want to something like this! Very creative!

Just a quick reminder Princess Bride will be on Friday night on Bravo. Some of us were supposed to watch this weren't we? Cough* cough* Sharky.

Never dull here either. Spent the morning at the mall looking for a shrug to go with a dress I am wearing to a Christmas party tomorrow nite. I almost hate going to parties because I end up spending so much money getting ready for them I at least did find one at Macy's for $30.00 with 20% off...that's the most reasonable I could find.

We have the company Christmas party tomorrow night too. I normally settle on an outfit just to get it over with but this year I started shopping in October. Really a dumb idea, because I ended up with more than one outfit. I figured I could wear my black skirt so I bought a really cute purple shirt with a sequince (spelling?) around the neck and this adorable matching sweater shrug with three quarter length sleeves. Then I was in the mall a few weeks later and I found this adorable shirt in Lane Bryant that had been featured in a magazine. So I had to have it. Then I decided that it needed a shrug too so I went back and got a black one just like the purple one. I figured that I can always use the clothes because they can be dressed down too. So then I received an email from a San Francisco based clothes designer about a sale and I have always admired their clothes so I decided it wouldn't hurt to look. And they had this beautiful raspberry colored sleeveless dress. It was a $150 dress on sale for $35 So guess what? I bought. That is what I am wearing with the black shrug, oh and these adorable balck shoes I found at the local outlet stores.

And I wanted some of the newer powder type of foundation, and must have new eye shadow, and I needed new eyeliner because our girls "borrow" mine and I never see it again. And I have been debating getting my hair done. And I am so glad I am not alone at this.

My hair is always an issue because I feel like I look the same regardless of what I do to it. Everyone likes curly hair unless they have it! She has shown interest in my blush which can turn very messy as she attempts to put it all over her body I can only imagine the price of buying makeup for 2 teens and yourself!

Good thing I don't buy it for me on a regular basis. Although I have decided to endeavor to wear makeup more because I had no clue that the new foundations were so fool proof. Oh my goodbye liquid foundation. Yucky stuff.

I agree about the new types of makeup. I would never ever wear any type of foundation before because it looked so fake to me. Plus I'm not the best at applying that type of thing. This summer I went to the Clinique counter and was amazed at the difference!
