I take it you don't laugh at people when they fall down either? I am like a middle school boy when it comes to humor (i.e. I can't get enough of Adam Sandler) and that show just cracks me up!

Huh, and I remember you asking that too. :confused3

Have not actually watched Wall-E... only listened to it. The kids got it for X-mas and they watched in the car on the drive back home from MI but I was in the front seat so I didn't *see* it. It seemed like there wasn't a lot of talking in the movie though. That is the only time my kids have watched it. :sad2:

And as for My Sister's Keeper... did you see when the cast was on Oprah? Or was it just Cameron Diaz? I can't remember but I bawled watching that! I don't think I can watch that in the theater... especially with my friend battling cancer right now... too close to home, kwim? I'll have to wait for it to come out on PPV so I can ugly-cry at home!

I understand completely, I just don't know that I can handle watching that in public. But there isn't a lot of talking but if you watch it there is a real love story going one there.

Oh and Michele your flowers are gorgeous!!! Is that like 2 dozen?!?! WOW! :worship:

Yeah, it is. He can be such a sweety when he tries. He got them at Costco and then he brought them home and arranged them in a vase.

How are you Love?

Is Tomato coming home tomorrow or Saturday?

I learned something new about my DH today (also explains his Mom's day fiasco). My friend who is stationed in Japan is visiting for 2 weeks and we are giving him a party. We looked at the calendar and saw we only have Jun 21 or 28 available.

I said, well, the 21st is Father's Day so we'll have to do it Jun 28th.

And DH says (and I quote), "Father's Day doesn't mean anything to me so we can do 21st"

Now I know it's an 'I'm not buying into the Hallmark hype thing' but still...

And now I'm wondering if I should even give him the Father's Day gift DD3 and I worked on over the last week (as seen in my TR)...definitely makes me glad I decided not to get him money for his camera lens...

Well that explains a lot. But its a shame he doesn't realize he hurt you. As the girls get bigger, the school will be pushing Mother's Day so he'll have to get on board when they bring stuff home. I would have the party on the 21st and the heck with Father's Day. Have the girls' give him the gift you worked on casually that day, don't make a big deal out of it, just, oh here, this is from the girls! :rotfl:

I went and bought some nice scrapbook paper and I am making him apage with our kids with pictures of them that they are going to pose for and take of each other. Goodness only knows what to expect and I let them pick stickers for the page. I know that this is my forst page so don't expect miracles.

Men are dense sometimes. I learned early on that Scotty was not going to remember to do anything unless he was beat over the head. I never expect anything but he always does something sweet at the last minute and that's all I can ask.

That's awesome Michele, Scotty seems so nice and sweet. You are one lucky woman!

Yeah me too. But the kids squealing with laughter everytime somebody falls or gets hit -- makes me laugh.

I've been great QM. How are you? I should be around to stay ! :thumbsup2

Ugh. Men can be so dense sometimes. Ok...you're not that into it, but maybe it means something to me. I say give him the present. He will love it, I'm sure and maybe he will see the error of his ways. I try not to make it into a "Hallmark" thing. I look at it as a day to try and make up for the fact that we might take our Dad's for granted the rest of the year (same thing on Mother's Day).

I'm so glad you're going to stick around for a while OB. I missed you.

Good way to look at Father's Day. I'm not feeling much like doing anything this year, and he's not even the father of my kids, but I will cause he did something for me, but he's more than taken away all the good he did that day by the way he's been lately. But won't give him any ammunition and will have to do something, just not sure what yet. Am surely not going to knock myself out over it.

Anyone who knows me, knows Tweety is my passion, I love my disney but Tweety is really special to me!

I’d LOVE to get a bigger one for the wall but that probably won’t happen for a while as they are VERY expensive.

Yeah, I hope that’s all it needs. Mike said that’s what it seems like. Now if we can get over to Walmart and get out shopping done we can get a battery :rolleyes1

If it doesn’t work then at least we still can use the touchscreen to do everything.

usually you stick a memory card in there, but some of the frames have internal memory (which ups the price of course). Ours has 1 gb of memory, but we’ll still use a memory card so we can have more pics on there. (I’m honestly not quite sure how many pics the frame itself would hold…don’t know what 1 gb equals picture-wise.

The internal memory would be nice so you didn't have to use a memory card in it. Now you have to buy a new one for your camera. Its cool though as they aren't that expensive.

I forget what it is but I remember seeing a comparison chart once and 1 G holes more if the pictures are smaller than larger. So not sure but think it would hold a couple hundred at least!

ah now I get it. But the Galveston one is only 6 hours from here and the hot tub has a swim up bar. My sister and I have I decided that we are leaving tomorrow. :lmao:

The way she is running around here you wouldn't think she was sick at all.:sad2:

I hope your little one gets better quick! Thats hard in the summer, even though she is running around acting not sick, the poor thing probably feels awful!

I am planning on it being the first page in a scrapbook I am starting for him with his bicycle racing pictures.

I am kind of nervous on how it turns out.

That sounds really nice Michele, I know he's going to love it! I can't wait to see pictures of it.

Scotty was so sweet today he got me some roses.

And here is a picture of them with the rose that Loren picked for me in the front.

That is awesome Michele, the flowers are gorgeous! YOu are one lucky woman to have Scotty and your kids! These are the best kind of flowers, the ones that are for no occasion, just because he loves you!

Well I like those kind of movies though I cry my eyes out. Is it out on DVD or will it be on TV yet? I don't get to the movies and we just decided to quit doing net flix for a while. I no longer can burn the movies as my other computer went and he never wants to sit and watch them when they come, so maybe I can rent it myself at the Red Box and watch it when he goes to bed some night.

I love the idea about matting the pictures and I never would have thought about doing it that. Thank you, I bought a gold pen to make the pictures pop. I need to get a few more but I figure that I will go someplace cheaper than Michael's for that. I found the cutest bicycle decorations to put in his scrapbook. They are a helmet bicycle shoes, and a bicycle outfit. I am trying to find bicycle ones that are road bikes and not mountain bikes. I could really get into this but I could also go broke doing it.

With Scotty the flowers were a just because the Loren one well....he is going through puberty and is constantly in trouble.:goodvibes

Your bike stickers will be great! I try to only spend at Mike's and ACM when I have a 50% off coupon. Then I make DD3 and now baby and I all get something so we can use 3 coupons (since they are one per person per day!)

And yes, scrapbooking/crafting can be an expensive hobby!

Wow, flowers just 'because' -- you got a great man there!

Hi guys,

I watched Wall-E lastnight and I don't think I have watched a sweeter love story in a long time. I really enjoyed it. I have been watching the commercials for My Sister's Keeper and I have debated whether I want to call my BFF and ask her if she wants to go see it. The only reason I am debating it is because I get all teary eyed watching the commercials for it.

We just bought Wall-E on DVD for DD3's upcoming birthday. She really liked it...it's a simple story...not too much dialog so she can relate to it. We also bought Bolt for her.

The sister's Keeper one ... nope, I can't do that. I'm an emotional wreck now as it is...I cry at the drop of a hat ... every book or movie or advertisements about a child getting sick or even just growing up through the years makes me bawl. I'm sure it's partly the hormones going back to normal. My hair is falling out too and I remember reading about this happening when your baby is around 3 months and it being hormone related.

Well that explains a lot. But its a shame he doesn't realize he hurt you. As the girls get bigger, the school will be pushing Mother's Day so he'll have to get on board when they bring stuff home. We decided to do the party on the 28th...if weather is nice on the 21st we'll do a picnic and then give him our gifts -- the D-A-D, a card made by DD3, some of his favorite cookies and M&M Almonds. And like you said, I'll let the girls give these gifts to him.

aww..really....I will have to watch that

I really want to see Sister's Keeper too. My best afriend and I talked about going to see it together :goodvibes

Oh and Michele your flowers are gorgeous!!! Is that like 2 dozen?!?! WOW! :worship:

I agree.

They are gorgeous Chele :cutie:

Hi Michele!!!! (insert waving smiley here lol)

Hi Karen!!!:goodvibes

That sounds really nice Michele, I know he's going to love it! I can't wait to see pictures of it.

I hope he does!

Oh the post hormones are the worst. I came real close to buying the book today, but I am not sure that I can even handle the book. I have thought abot re-reading The Robe recently but I get so choked up when I read it. I think it is one of the best books I have ever read.

Tomorrow I am headed to Walmart to buy a few more supplies for the present and there is this scrapbook shop downtown I am dying to visit to look for more bicycle stickers.

And yes I am lucky. Scotty does sweet things like the flowers and it reminds me why I fell in love with him.

I agree.

They are gorgeous Chele :cutie:

And I think that Trent will even enjoy it. It appeals on both levels.

I love Amanda Bresling and I think the movie is worth seeing for her alone.

those decorations sound cute! Are they the 3D cardstock type "stickers"? I have a ton of those for the scrapbook I've still never started...:rolleyes1
:headache: I'm terrible! I have all the stuff and it just overwhelms me SO much thinking about it that I've never gotten started.
Also the digital age has caused me to not print out the pics I take :sad2: but I've just recently started printing some bit by bit so as not to cost TOO much at one time...I finally put a bunch of pics in frames that I had laying around.

and the flowers are BEAUTIFUL by the way!

yeah, the smaller the pic, the more you can fit.

Thanks for reminding me we need to get a memory card. I'll probably go to Big Lots for that. They have 'em cheap. :thumbsup2

We have been going to the Red Box a lot lately. But then we end up keeping the movies for several days and paying $5 anyway. :rotfl2: We try to watch them right away and Mike falls asleep a lot during them. Poor baby works so much, he's always tired.

Marsha, I think it's hilarious that you use the baby and DD3 to buy 2 extra things with the coupons at the craft store. :rotfl:

And smart! :thumbsup2

The digital age is actually what's best for me, I am very bad at getting my film developed. With the digital pictures they are stored and safe, and when I want prints I put them on Shutterbug and have them printed at Target. It is so easy and wonderful and also this way I can pick what gets developed. I love all the stickers and I plan on shopping for more today.

And thanks I love my flowers.
