Hi Michele, I am feeling somewhat better. I still have that really deep cough that feels like your lungs are being ripped out of your chest! I just took some Tylenol Chest Congestion and the cough seems a little looser! Thanks! I don't wish this on anyone! It has really put a damper on my vacation, though I thoroughly my time in NJ with the kids and Trent. It was awesome to spend time with them! I have some photos on FB because Bryan downloaded them, put them on his page and I stole them, lol. This computer is old and it locks up when I am doing anything big. So if you want to see photos from our visit, check them on FB!

Oh the cough sounds terrible. And it's so terrible to get sick on vacation. I know only so well. I was so sick last time we went to Disneyland. I hope the cough gets better.

We plan to go down as soon as school is out, June 30th. Tomato is flying home for father's day weekend in the meantime.

We plan to go down as soon as school is out, June 30th. Tomato is flying home for father's day weekend in the meantime.

IF our house should sell before school gets out and we need to find a place down there pronto, I will beg my friends here if they will watch our kids for a weekend so I can fly down there. It would be nice to have such a problem, huh?

awwww I remember how rough that was when we had to deal with that when I was about 12 years old. It's just not fun but you are still moving to FL too so that is something you can focus on and look fwd to. I hope you get more showings and that the house does sell before the kids get out of school (I can't believe you guys go until the 30th!! )

Aww, thanks Cheri, I love it! I was a lucky person last year, I got to go to Disney with you and Mike and then I got to come to your hotel and meet you in person. I'll miss FL as now I can't run to Disney to see everyone each time they come for vacation. That was one of the best parts of living there, meeting all of you!

Yeah you were lucky... just kidding. I sure was the lucky one to meet you!

Hi guys! Sorry that I too have been MIA for a few days!! It's been crazy busy! I do have a question for you that maybe you could help me with, though...

Can you take food through security at the airport? We're wanting to take food on the plane for our next trip (actually, going to Miami instead of Dis... AHH!! ) but the flight is RIGHT over our normal dinner time. Do we have to pack the food in a certain way to keep security from getting their mits all over it ? Any advice would be MUCH appreciated!!!

I luckily had an old Dell and it seems to be holding out so at least I can get online. If I ever find a job which I pray I do, then I will get a new laptop and the one that Carla got and Tomato may get sounds like its perfect and a good price as well. I'll be curious to know how much it is at Office Max also. We don't have one around here, nor do we have a Best Buy. So I'll either have to order mine at Amazon like Carla or see if Walmart sells them.

Any advice would be MUCH appreciated!!!

As far as I know, NO food. No drink. Don't you know you could be smuggling in a bomb in your food!

unfortunately they are SO strict on everything. I think the only food allowed is baby food in sealed jars...someone correct me if that's not even allowed now?

So....I wrecked my car this morning!

We had a pallet of shingles sitting in the driveway to the left behind me, and I stupidly hit them while backing out. Well, I tapped them, and proceeded to pull back up so I could back out straight. Well...when I did that, it apparently caught on the bumper and ripped the whole dang thing off!!! My bumper is currently hanging off my car. And there's scraped on the part that's over the left rear tire. It royally sucks.

I called Mike and he left work to come to my rescue. Since today is the 1st day of the month, hence our busiest day (and no one is ever allowed to schedule time off on 1st workday), he dropped me off at work and went back to work himself. I'll have to deal with the damages tomorrow. And I also have a dentist appt tomorrow afternoon. So I will be using up some vacation time. Ugh. What a Monday!

Hi Toledo, As far as I know, you can take food on board the airplane and through security as long as it is solid food like pretzels, crackers and cookies, things like that. I once took these little packets of little individual snacks that were pretzel sticks and cheese dip in one little packet, well because of the consistency of the cheese they took them away. I was allowed however to keep other things, like candy, cookies, regular pretzels etc.No liquids though unless they are bought once you pass through security, then you can take them on the plane. You can, if you want to spend the money, buy McDonald's or something in the secure area and take it on board the plane. But as you know airport food is really expensive.

A week or two before you are going go to the TSA web site, not sure what it is exactly but you can google it and find out what the latest restrictions are. They do change them occasionally so its good to know ahead of time so you can get through security as easily and quickly as possible!

Sorry, I didn't read this before I replied to you. So you don't want to buy in the airport and you want to eat healthy. Maybe a couple of apples, not sure if they can get thru security but they are hard and solid, so maybe. I would definitely check the TSA web site and I also would call the airline I am flying on ahead of time!
