should I get a picture taken of our girls and frame to give to DH? should I be in the pic too?

should I just give $$ toward his camera lens (which is what I know he wants)

should I just 'forget' all about it?

Is he going to be riding the school bus? My kids start at 9 too; their bus doesn't pick them up until about 8:15 or 8:20, so I let them sleep until about 7:30. Once they start middle school, they'll leave an hour earlier and I know they'll hate that. Then they'll get to the point where they'll actually start caring about what they're wearing to school and Kyleigh will want to wear makeup. I'll have to wake up at freaking 4 a.m.

Don't be scared. My kids are just klutzes, just like their mom (and Carla, apparently).

If I do hit it, two mins

Going to let him sleep as late as possible...but not so late...he sound asleep and falls right back to sleep in class , I hope

Evening everyone from rainy rainy Chicago!!

But then it was monsooning this past weekend in Florida UGH!!!!!

So it was back to work today...that 4 day weekend went by WAY too fast! Anyone else feeling their holiday just flashed by?

In a blink of an eye WHOOOOOOOOOOSH!!!! But today felt like Monday and it is really Tuesday

I had said I'd update y'all on anything with my mom. She is having a diagnostic mammogram this afternoon since her lymph nodes all started with her underarms. I am praying that it all comes back clean. NO cancer!

Okay, I am back. I had to go to the grocery store and pick up the two well kids from school.

We get out June 16th I believe. We used 3 snow days this year and it says snow days make up begin on June 17th. However, I always thought 3 snow day were built in the calendar and only needed to make up if you went over 3. I guess we shall see

Thanks! So maybe my daughter is looking like me now? For so long everyone said she was looking like DH.

Tomorrow we start solo swim lessons -- meaning she'll be in a group of 4 students with the life guard..no more mommy getting in the water with her. We'll see how she does.

I just broke my laptop!

No really....I'm actually kind of glad.....I hated that thing from day 1.

Windows vista sucked! My Dad loaded XP on it and couldn't get all the drivers for everything to work right with XP. The letters were being rubbed off the keyboard so I had no idea what letters where what w/o putting my fingers on the correct keys. My internet security suite just recently stopped working correctly.....etc etc etc. The stupid wireless network button was a switch on the outside left of my computer so I would accidentally shut off the wireless network at least once a week making me shut down my computer and re-start every time it happened. It had WAY too many quirks.

So, I got all pouty and upset that I was going to have to share a laptop with Chris. But he said he doesn't want to have to share either because then he'd never be able to get online (I'd have it all the time) so he agreed that I can get one of the new/cheap netbooks. I'm currently considering a BLUE Acer one that I'm pretty gaga over so all in all this is a good thing
Maybe I need to break electronics more often

that's for darn sure! I ordered my laptop! Now I just have to wait until Friday for it to be here. Hopefully it won't require a signature when it's delivered like my camera did.

My parents left this morning. Mom was able to get a doc appt back home. Doc said she just has a flu ... supposedly it's the flu the docs expected to see in March, but it's showing up in May.

Yeah, I would expect the same thing...however, if I get my dad to spend more than 15 minutes alone with them, that's a lot. I just don't understand.

He did make an effort this time and volunteered to watch Elie while Rae and I went to pick up some bath toys I got on Freecycle -- all of a big 15 minutes!

My kids have always been night owls too. And as much as I've tried to get them to go to bed at a decent hour, they just don't want to. They're up late most nights. Sometimes, they just get so tired that they're sleeping by 8 o'clock. But not often.

Wow, everyone has really been chatty. I am in a campground in TN on our way back to LA and it has free wireless, the signal is not very strong but at least I can get online. I am waiting to hear about the one Carla bought to see ifr it will be something I may want to get since the price is so reasonable. I just know I need to get a new computer as I used to be able to keep facebook open and on another table have the DIS open and keep up on both. Now I am so far behind on the DIS I think you all may forget about me.

I have been really sick, I have bronchitis and the deep dry cough is just killing me. My sides, chest and back hurt so bad from coughing so hard. I don't ever remember having it this bad. I started getting sick the first day I got to NJ. That was just wrong.

We had a nice visit, I loved being with the kids and Trent, got to see some of my family before I got sick and had a DIS meet in PA and another one in NJ. It was just awesome. I have pics to post but will see if this computer will let me do it. If not will do it once I get home to LA and I can use Bryan's new one to open photobucket and DIS. For those of you on Facebook, I have them on my photo page. Bryan uploaded them to his computer and put them on his page and then I stole them from there.
