Can I just ask...how is the whole click it or ticket thing enforced? I mean, if I was pulled over wouldn't I just put my seat belt on real quick and claim I had it on the whole time? Not that I ever drive without a seat belt.

Tat -- no theme park is planned at the Maryland site...just a convention center type hotel. However, I wouldn't be surprised if it had a nice pool area and mini-arcade like DisneyQuest. There should be a water launch that takes you over to Old Town.

I was just in Pittsburgh yesterday. MY GOSH are they ever going to be done with the construction? It took 2 1/2 hours to get there on Tuesday. And I've never been to the "other side" of Station Square until now. Good Lord, there's a lot of bars in that area. No wonder there's so many broke drunks roaming around Pittsburgh. You don't even wanna know what I paid for what I was drinking.

I had no idea what to get you. I'm not sure what size you wear, don't know if you like jewelry. So I went for the next best thing - alcohol! I love those things, but I can't drink them anymore due to the fact that they give me massive headaches. I have three of them in the fridge in case you ever come to visit me. They're never gonna get drunk unless somebody else drinks them. They're probably getting skunky, though.

well you remember I emailed you saying I got stuck on the road in between a house being moved and some 18 wheeler thing carrying some equipment. That was just nuts. Then my sushi roll tasted like crap after being in the car for over a half hour!

Then we had problems at work (with one of our trading sites) so it delayed our process.

And Mike called me when he went home for a late lunch--he said Merlin (for everyone who doesn't know, that's my little chihuahua/jack russel terrier mix) got into the trashcan in my bathroom, and guess what time of month it is?? Luckily I use ____ and not ____ so it was only the _____ in the trash. (sensoring for UJ & Mustard... if you don't get it PM me. haha)

Then if that wasn't enough he also got into my plant (from valentine's day--of which Chance, the great dane, already broke the nice pot it was in!) and had dirt all over the place in the living room.

Then around 3:30 I went to the gas station with my coworker to buy some lottery tix (to try to change my luck..LOL) and my coworker was driving---well an 18 wheeler came REALLY close to hitting us, he started to come out of a side road as if he didn't even see us!!

I just figured yesterday I was bad luck! (oh and I lost on the scratchoff and the powerball I bought)

I was sitting at a red light the other day as cars were crossing to get on the interstate, there was a cop to my left on the median (it was college graduation day & they were monitoring traffic I guess) and then the light turned green...TWO CARS crossed my path to get on the interstate. It was an OBVIOUS red light for them. I looked at the cop & threw my hands up in the air, and was like "what the heck??!" If I hadn't hesitated, I would have been hit!
And the cop did NOTHING!

Wow, scary but not suprising about the cars running the reds - people seem to make pushing the limit/endangering others their life's work ...all to save 45 seconds off their day

GEEZ!! It's cops like that that give that profession a bad reuptation. That really grinds my gears! (anyone remember that from Family Guy?)

I surrender that Adam's outfit was silly but it did fit with KISS. And he did say he likes to play dress up. Paul Stanley the lead singer has done Broadway, he did Phantom of the Opera so I found it ironic that Adam sang with them. ANd then when they sang with Queen I was thrilled because I told Scotty that Adam kind of reminded me of Freddy Mercury. All in all I thought AI was great last night.

I didn't follow the show, just not my speed. But it would have been cool to see Queen perform again - I'll have to youtube that one.

Usually we sit stationary and observe traffic going by, it is very easy to see if someone has the belt on or not...(usually). Of course as someone is pulled over they put it on......I've been doing it long enough I can usually get someone to admit not wearing it......or I tell them I watched them put it on in their mirror......I reallly like the person who goes by and all of a sudden they see me and have to rub their left shoulder with the right arm....or itch their arm........it is funny....I usually wave at them!!!
Seatbelt tickets are $65 in Mi, no points on the license.
