I think that's neat that Kacy is getting really into politics at her age. I didn't become interested in it or really pay attention to it until after I got married (I was 21 y/o at the time).

Yes and no. She has brilliant views and they are well thought out but, she believes that her opinion is the only right one. And that there is no value to other peoples. And she raises her voice to make her point. I keep telling her she doesn't need to raise her voice.

I hope she realizes that her opinion is simply an opinion and not the end all be all right way to view things so that later on in life she does not become one of those people that others do not want to bring up politics around. I know I can't stand talking politics with my FIL. *sigh*

I think it is an age thing. I was that way when I was younger but I was older than Kacy is. I raised them to be interested in politics and voting because is California so many young people do not vote and I want to make sure that at least mine do.

I'm glad you slept good as well! Happy 12th anniversary to you and your DH. Those cupcakes sound delish!! Chris and I normally don't do anything huge either for our Anniversary. We try to at least do something to celebrate like go to dinner or take a small trip (like this year). Having memorial weekend the same weekend as our Anniversary makes it easier for the small trips to happen. I hope you guys have a great day.

Well, as of 6 am this morning, they arrived in PA...not sure of the town, just somewhere in the boonies(no offense Niiki )


THey took a 2 hr nap and then visited with his mom and then went to Five guys for dinner



Tonight she had the pleasure of meeting up with Nikki and her kids there

Shane had a ball practice I think and they came aftewards for about an hr


They are having the meet on Friday still with Betsy, too
