The pain is gone so that is good news but it is still swollen and I can't hear good out of it. So it's just taking a while.

My parents are here for a few days...they always stop at our house for a few days before they go to WDW.

We started watching Bedtime Stories -- this is an awesomely cute movie. We'll finish it tomorrow night.

I'm glad to hear that the pain in your ear is gone. Hope the swelling goes down soon and your hearing is fully restored. I'm sure you can still hear that baby cry

I'm SOOOOOO sleepy! It took me forever to fall asleep last night. It didn't help that DH didn't get home til nearly 11 pm after going to New Orleans with some work buddies after he got off work (at freaking 5:30)

what!? Why the heck didn't he take you with him?? Y'all barely get to see each other as it is.

Chris is going to the dr today to get his ears checked. He used to have tubes in his ears but they came out about a year or so ago and just recently he's been having problems with one of them (pain and pressure) so he's thinking he may need them again which means surgery. Minor surgery that he's been through a few times before but it's still surgery. Also my FIL is getting his biopsy today. Please say a little prayer for him. I'm just glad Chris is able to go with him. They're both seeing the same dr today so that really worked out.

Yep as I mentioned to you the other day, Resident Annual Passes are the best! Even if you just go a couple times they've already paid for themselves. We had them knowing we'd only be down there a short time and believe me, we got our money's worth, you will too!!! Another selling point on moving for the kids!!!

Well, that too but the biggest change I was referring to was that they are not giving out the wrist bands at the front of the park anymore. If you want to ride any rides during EMH's you have to show your resort key card to the person operating the ride (or maybe even before you get in line for the ride). I thought that was a bit weird because then if you're still in the park for EMH's and you're not a guest at a resort they have no way of really kicking you out of the park.

That's what we had to do when we were living down there, we had to have our resort key with us, so I just put it in the plastic sleeve on my lanyard and had my annual pass on one side and my resort key on the other side.

So, if you get to the park before EMH and you are already in, no one comes around to throw you out, you can walk around and look around and take pictures and shop. If you want to go on the rides, then yes you have to have your resort key with you. Now I'm not saying they look at them "that" closely so if you accidentally put an old one in your plastic pouch and flash it, they may not notice it was from another time, that's for those of you who may not be staying in the park, or AP holders who are not staying on the property.

It isn't "official" yet because they have to come up with their offer and then get it to Tomato and hash that all out but....... it's looks like we're moving to Panama City!

I don't know whether to be happy or sad... I guess it's a little of both.

It will be great Love, you'll all adjust and be happy to be in FL and that much closer to the World! The kids will get over it once they start making new friends and realize they may get to Disney a little more often as well! No snow either lol, that can't hurt!

He left straight from work with the 2 guys in one of the guys trucks. I think I said 5:30 but I meant he gets off at 5...and so do I. I couldn't have gone with him.

They brought him back to his truck at work after they were done and he drove home from there.

Even if I could've gone I probably wouldn't have because he was with coworkers and I had stuff to do. Couldn't be gone all evening.

I went to the tanning bed (getting darker...) and picked up my new stainless steel automatic opening trash can from the Walmart site to store. It's so purdy! I forgot to get batteries for it though. I told him that's his job today.
I also got to watch House, which I missed last week cuz he wanted to go out to eat.

Thanks Cheri! Me too. As for my FIL the dr didn't seem too concerned after he got the sample for the biopsy. He said it wasn't to far down into the tissue and it didn't look all that big so it will probably wind up being nothing but better to be safe than sorry. He'll probably get the results later on this week or first of next week.

Jenny Craig is going well. Tomorrow is my first weigh in....will see how it goes. The food is not bad at all. So far there has been only one lunch that I didn't like (Corn chowder soup). I just want this to teach me how to eat healthy!!! The portions are small enough - I am always hungry

DM - How much were the Florida Resident Passes and what did you have to show to prove residency - I will have the house but the driver's license will still be Florida.

Off to do some knitting......

Thanks Love. Hope you are doing well too. Chris has to have a tube put into his right ear. No biggie. Just out patient surgery. Chris' Dad had the biopsy today but won't get the results for a few days or maybe even not until next week but the dr seemed pretty positive.

My Bestie and myself went to 99 for dinner. I got the Honey BBQ Chicken Wrap and fries. It was so good

Then we went and saw Ghosts of Past Girlfriends...or something like that

I thought it was great. It did have some cheesey moment, but all in all, a good chic flick

- I have a legitimate ticker now!!! YES, a trip is on the books

- DH said we could add another day so we are now staying 4 nights!! I think this is soooo much better.

- We got in BLT for a 1br! I can't wait to try out this resort.



And the bad news...we couldn't get in BLT for December. In fact, for the time we wanted (Dec 5-8), there were only 2 properties available (SSR and OKW), so from a DVC point of view, this time will be crowded.

So we are going Nov 14 - 18th.

I'm bummed b/c I won't be able to meet up with some of you guys ... but hey, I'm going to Disney!!!

Good morning everyone. Happy Hump Day!! It's POURING here today! Going to rain all day. I tried to do a screen capture of the weather to show y'all but it's just not working for me this morning. But it looks like this storm is pretty big. I'm really hoping all of this rain finally gets us out of this drought so the water ban will be lifted. Then I can wash my own car and save myself $10 every month. Or quit waiting to get my car washed until when I use the windshield wipers they do more harm than good.

My Dad is going out of town tomorrow and won't be back until Monday so it will be an easy next few days for me. Maybe I can use that time to get myself back into SR. I've been slacking something major for the last couple of weeks.
