Hey Carla! Yes, we've lost you to the joys of new camera ownership Have fun and let me know if you have any questions!

LOL you haven't lost me. I'll just have to try and post more pictures when I take them. I took 116 last night just playing with the camera. I posted them on FB last night if you haven't seen them yet. I'll post a few of them here after I get them loaded onto photobucket. And I'm sure I will come up with some questions. The camera seems easy to operate....I'm just going to have a problem remembering exactly what setting for what type of picture off the top of my head. I need to make myself a cheat sheet and stick it in my camera bag. It's amazing how just changing the aperture and ISO setting will do to the light in a picture. And I LOVE how the camera still has the same presets like my point and shoot does just in case I don't feel like fidgeting with the camera settings. I do think I have a few questions on what some of the options are on the camera though but I"ll have to post the question when I actually have the camera in front of me.

LOL For a while there I could still call it "my room" but about a year or 2 ago they gave my bed away.

I think there is one piece of furniture in there that belonged to me. My nightstand. I might still have stuff in there. LOL
The other day my dad tried to give me "my file" from their filebox. It had report cards from when I was a kid, my safe driving school certificate, my vaccine records from when I was like 4, and numerous other things. I asked if he would mind keeping it. I told him they need to keep a piece of me there.

you know what my Mom did with my room after I moved out? Turned into her sewing room! Like right away! I haven't had a "my room" in their house since 2001.

Hi Everyone, I am going to try to catch up a little. I was traveling home from FL on a long, leisurely trip by the way of a stop over in Mobile, AL and a day at the USS Alabama and looking around there, then on to Biloxi, MS.We liked that campground so much we stayed two days and left out of there on Tuesday. While there we went to the casino and if I had time I'd put the photo in photobucket and post it but he got the game on the penny machine he was playing and he won $666.90 on that one game. Needless to day he cashed that out and put it in his pocket and didn't spend it. It was awesome, my mouth just dropped open when it said "Big Win" and all the little pictures were flying all over the screen! It was so awesome!

Then we left Biloxi at 6:00 a.m. and headed to Slidell. I had a very important meeting there!!! I was getting to finally meet Orange Blossom. I was so excited that we were able to make our schedules work. Kelly posted a picture here I believe, that I took with my cell phone. I have two pictures that we took with the camera but since my computer is not recognizing my USB I can't download them yet. Anyway I had a really nice time. Orange Blossom is really sweet and nice. I had such a great time with her and only wished it could have been longer! But hey I was happy to just finally be able to meet her!!! She gave me the most adorable snack big clips, they were little alligators!! They were awesome!

Thanks Jamie, I really enjoyed meeting you and am so happy you made time to come out and have breakfast with us!!! It was really nice to sit and spend time with you.

Oh Well I yam what I yam!!

Braeton was tested for the swine flu today. It came up negative but as the Dr was in there we literally watched a rash pop up over him and his clear eyes become blood shot. He is just running a low grade fever so we are hoping it's just a virus. But the min it goes above 101.6 I'm to take him back in. Plus Hubby has chills and upset stomach so .................
I am supposed to be at church right now for prayer before service so since I am playing the drums tonight I guess I better go!!!

Braeton was tested for the swine flu today. It came up negative but as the Dr was in there we literally watched a rash pop up over him and his clear eyes become blood shot. He is just running a low grade fever so we are hoping it's just a virus. But the min it goes above 101.6 I'm to take him back in. Plus Hubby has chills and upset stomach so .................

Whoa! I'm sorry to hear about Braeton and your hubby. Glad you did get tested for swine flu and it was negative. That's scary to consider.

hola all.. im in isolation.. i have een banned to the bedroom!! my eye is all itchy and red and puffy and yuck and I took eye drop and allergy meds and it hasnt help so we are worried about the worst (aka pink eye ) so I have an appt tomorrow morning to check it out.. but for now im alll alone! im gunna eat my ice cream and watch birde wars! woot woot!!
