Good Evening! How is everyone? Today was Loren's first band review of the year. His band was fantastic! I am proud. As soo as I find video of it on youtube I will post it.

I ordered my new Canon Digital SLR camera about an hour ago from Amazon! I'll have it on Wednesday. I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Today was 92 degrees -- UGH, HOT! We all were so miserable with each other today...it was just the heat.

But on a happy note, we went to a nursery and got 23 plants plus some veggies and I was able to plant them all today. Our deck now looks so lovely! I love looking out or sitting outside and being surrounded by blooms!

Today was 92 degrees -- UGH, HOT! We all were so miserable with each other today...it was just the heat.

But on a happy note, we went to a nursery and got 23 plants plus some veggies and I was able to plant them all today. Our deck now looks so lovely! I love looking out or sitting outside and being surrounded by blooms!

Saturday was QM last day in Florida

Her and her dh left around 11am and they are taking a very leisurley drive back to Louisiana.

They spent the day in Alabama today touring a battle ship and doing some other sight seeing tours.

They are in Biloxi, Mississippi and are staying at a KOA Campground until Tuesday.

Tonight, they are at a casino, having some fun.

Will keep you all updated on their progress and on when they arrive home

Saturday was QM last day in Florida

Her and her dh left around 11am and they are taking a very leisurley drive back to Louisiana.

They spent the day in Alabama today touring a battle ship and doing some other sight seeing tours.

They are in Biloxi, Mississippi and are staying at a KOA Campground until Tuesday.

Tonight, they are at a casino, having some fun.

Will keep you all updated on their progress and on when they arrive home

Yeah, for relaxing and touring the US. Boo that they have to leave Orlando.

Maybe I missed it but did QM give her overal thoughts on living in Orlando?

Like many other folks, I dream of living close enough to go into WDW any day I want with an Annual Pass, but I wonder if the reality of it would be negative (compared to my idealized dream concept )

Prior to Elie, I felt like I had laundry under control...but now, I had 6 laundry bags of clothes to fold and put away...well, I never got to put them away yet...just gave up after folding and sorting them all....

The windows are starting to be a pain in my you know what! Got the bottom one's cleaned and now need to figure out how to do the outside of the upstairs I don't really like ladder's!

I am the same way after I get sick, all motivation is gone. I think recently my motivation is from the weather...I am much better on a warm sunny day!

The weekend went so fast! Today I'm taking SB to the dentist for the first time This sounded like a good idea last month when the app't was made, now I'm wishing I would have procrastinated the way I do with most things

I have insomnia from time to time. I hate it. I finally went to the Dr for it and they gave me some pills that I only take once in a while. The only trouble I have is if I don't take them early enough I am overly tired in the morning.

is it ambien like QM?

I've seen the GF (Gingerbread house is amazing) but haven't seen the WL...that's a great option...we could take a boat over to the WL and then eat at Whispering Canyon, which DD would enjoy. Good idea!

I actually enjoy it! probably enjoy it more b/c DH takes the girls and I get some alone time!

However, the past 2 days, DD finally has told me that she wants to pick out her own clothes. I knew this day would come...I was just dreading it...I like dressing her b/c I know I'll match the colors etc

So first day, she picked blue leggings with red cherries on them with a hot pink top -- YECH! I hate pink and red together...not sure why, but I always have...(I also don't like black tops with blue jeans...)

So do you all have any color combinations that you hate to see or wear? ...or is it just me?

I don't think so. I just hate mismatching.

Not sure of any actual combo that I do not like, but I do hate the not matching thing

But here is my trick...

Let her pick out the pants or skirt or shorts'

Then, give her two shirts to choose from, three at the most

This way you can find something that matches, but she still gets to be the one to do the "picking"

That's so sad that they finally had to leave but glad they are having fun on the way back to LA instead of just driving. Did QM get to finish her temp job?

Have you ever pressure washed your house? That's how Chris gets our top windows clean. We have a light color for siding so if we don't pressure wash the house at least every other year it starts to look really grimy.

Has Bean tried out her new bed? How does she like it? And yay for speakers and ammo!! What kind of gun do you shoot? I haven't been to the range in SO long but I like to shoot Chris' Glock 45 cal. I used to have a 45 Cal. Walther but we sold that. We also used to have a Desert Eagle but I never got to shoot that since the recoil probably would have ripped my arm right out of the socket

We have to go back to Costco this weekend and I can already feel that we won't get out of there near as lucky money-wise

We just got the bed set up last night and she is very happy. She had been sleeping on a day bed for the past couple of years so she was excited to have a "real bed". And she slept very well on it last night

As far as handguns I have an old colt .22, a S & W .38, a S & W .45 semi-auto (my favorite - it is the "short" version and is very well balanced and not too bluky). I haven't been shooting in over a year - need to find some time to do that.

I've shot the Desert Eagle and a lot of handgun. My ex stepdad had a Ruger Redhawk .44 mag. I remember him shooting a madrone stump with a hollowpoint round and it exploding into a cloud of wood shards. Who needs a stump grinder

Oh joy, first trip to the dentist May the dentist be personable and the check-up be cavity-free! And I agree about the weekend - ZOOM and it was gone!


I had to pick up PumpkinGirl from school due to a bad allergy attack. She had walked past a big field on the way to school and of course there was someone with one of those tractor mowers stirring up all kinds of fun. I'm at home with her now with her dosed up on her allergy meds and me DISing and playing with another Jack Skellington T-shirt design
