I think Carla and Sharky are both planning to go in December sometime. And if all goes well we will be doing Disneyland in December. What did you think of Adam?

I kind of have him figured out I think. I figured he would pick a woman's song. He tends to do that so that it isn't as easy to compare it. I saw it on youtube is why I knew about it. It was a little bit less than I expected but maybe that is what sets him apart, although I can figure part of it out I am still guessing.

It would be neat if you could all meet up.

It's so hard to keep up anymore. I am trying to keep up on Facebook and wanting to get back to Sunshine and yet i can't seem to find the time.

In my own defense though I have been busy packing during the day for our move back to LA I just put a few more things out and we took a bunch of it out already and packed it in our camper.

Its's okay mom..we understand

They still haven't figured out what's wrong with my mom. She has been reading all kinds of stuff on the internet (which can be a bad thing..)

She was thinking maybe lyme disease. Also she said that the thing on her arm is getting worse again so she thinks possibly staph infection.

Then she talked to a friend of hers who freaked out and told her to go to the dr. again ASAP because she saw a special on tv about a man who got staph on his arm and then he started to get lots of back pain (like my mom is having) and the doctor's didn't know what it was...then he died!

That man had NO antibiotics whereas my mom did have some so hopefully she can get it under control. That story my mom told me today scared me!

Ohhh, I'm very sad for you that you guys are going back to LA. I know you knew this day would eventually come, but still it's sad not to be that close to the World!!



Normally we do a rental car but this trip is supposed to be just a quick, inexpensive trip -- no rental car, no dining plan, only 1 table service meal, no hard-ticket stuff (like halloween or christmas party)...



Well, actually, I did some research and we would have enough points to do a quick w/e and go next year, too for 8 nights (woo hoo!!) I called DVC today and found out for a 1BR standard view at BLT, nothing is available in Sept or October but there is some in November...December hasn't opened up to me yet (not 7 months in advance).

So, at this point we are going to try to go in early December if we can get in. If not, then we're hoping that November will still be available. If neither, then we'll either change resorts or save all the points to go longer next year.

I'm starting to get a bit ... but not sure if it'll happen or not so don't want to get too emotionally attached yet, ya know??



Have a great time in May! How many days are you going? I love the F&G Festival -- prob my favorite time of year to go!

Lil has to go. I actually like Matt so hope he stays. I agree Anoop needs to go next.

So I found out that AI tour will be in Washington, DC in August...I'm still seriously thinking about getting tickets...but would that be bad? DH and I would probably be the oldest folks there without kids!

Hey guys.. so planing didnt go quite like planing.. it was more like Joshs grandma telling us how things were going to happen.. no ones opinion was to be heard by her.. but everything she said sounds nice and pretty and stuff.. I am not a bit worried that my wedding wont be well organized and beautiful.. she did my baby shower really nicely.. so whatever.. the only opinion I got was colors.. which I decided to go with pinkish colors.. its gunna be nice.. we are going to do a ceremony at her house and were gunna get married between her pool and hot tub and there are going to be flowers floating in them and flowers on the fence.. and its going to be nice.. I have faith in her.. what I thought was funny was the fact that so far my mom and dad havent said they were going to help financially or effort wise (like preparing stuff and stuff) and Joshs grandma has no problem being blunt about things and she looked at my mom and put her on the spot.. she said "so what are you guys doing to help because Charlotte, Randy, Josh, and Steph cant really afford it alone" so now my parents are buying my dress and shoes and Joshs slacks (because he already has a shirt and tie and shoes) and giving Charlotte like $200 for food and decorations.. i was like wow... if you know how my parents have been recently you would be like like I was... but I lived through it.. i thought my mom was going to cry because Joshs grandma kept putting her on the spot.. and i know if Joshs grandma says something I dont like tho she may not listen to me, if i tell Joshs mom she will make sure it doesnt happen or tell me his grandmas logic on why its best that way!


and to those of you with rain i envy you.. its been like 90 degrees in my house.. too hot for the mister so he was at Joshs parents house the past few days but my parents brought me their in the window AC to use till we get AC ( again btw) so it will be cooler in my house! but in the summer it gets like 115 in winters!

Marshay, plan that long weekend, it's a good dry run for a full week, remember there are certain things you can buy when you get here so you don't have so much to pack. Like you can bring enough diapers and wipes for the plane ride and one day, then buy diapers here at Walmart, do you normally get a rental car? If so that would be one way of packing less, buying here.

applique is coming pretty good actually. I'm working on a boarder to go on my niece's quilt and it's coming along nicely. I work on it every day after work. I haven't quilted since the last Saturday I had with my Mom. I need to get that applique done over that quilt. But it's coming along. We work on it on the Saturdays we meet and this Saturday is one of those so there will be some more done on it.

Oh man that story really does sound scary! Your poor mom! Why do people insist on sharing things like that!? And doing research on the internet is not all that great either. I know, I did it a LOT when I was TTC. Ugh! The internet can be good and also bad for information at the same time. I hope your Mom gets some answers from her dr soon so she can stop freaking herself out.

Oh that's AWESOME!!!! We HAVE to do a Dis meet if you go in early December. Sharky will be there too. My dates are November 28th - December 5th. I'm not quite sure what Sharky's are....I know they over lap but she'll be there after I leave. I think they're staying through until December 7th?

And yeah I totally know what you mean about not wanting to let yourself get overly excited over a trip that might not happen. I hope it does. Even more so now if you go in early December. I really hope we overlap!

Wow so it sounds like it was a successful planning day. That's so great that Josh's grandmother got your Mom to pay for things for your wedding. Major score there!!

So, for those of you that don't know I wanted to fill you in on what has been going on with my Disney reservations for our trip in December. I don't know if you all remember or not but when I canceled our house that we had booked for that trip a few weeks ago I was going to have my friend Rebecca look into seeing what kind of discount she could score for us. Well, it turns out that since she works at the Rainforest Cafe at AK she can qualifies for the Disney employee discount!!! And that is a whopping 50% OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it!? Neither can I! So, she called last night to book our rooms for us at Pop century and was told that the rooms they have set aside for CM's for that time were sold out so she tried All Star Movies and that was available and she booked two rooms. We wanted joining so she got joining and was told that we can get both joining rooms as King rooms (which wasn't available at all at POP). Also, All Star Movies is where Sharky is staying for her trip so now we will be ultra close to her and that makes me very happy! So everything is working out just perfectly for this trip. I think this is going to be a GREAT do-over trip for last year's really crappy trip. I'm so happy and excited and glad. And with the money that we're saving by booking our rooms through Rebecca I'm going to go and buy myself a Digital SLR camera like I've wanted for the last 4 years. So my TR for December should be full of some really great pictures taken with my really cool new camera. I SO can't wait for this trip. I just cannot describe in words how freaking beside myself with excitement I am. And now to top it off I might get to meet Marshay if their December trip works out too? This trip just keeps getting better and better. Now who else is going to be there in December?? C'mon you guys! You know you want to go!!
