Hey everyone. I thought that I should come here and tell you guy. Kody has been really sick today and my mom took her to the emergency room because she had a high fever.

Okay.. Just got word that it's strep throat

Well we are home. I tell you this gorl of mine is aging me more everyday. She came home early from her concert last night because she didn't feel good. I figured that with her headaches that all would be okay. Today I sent her to school with her knowing that she could call me if need be. Well she called me during fourth period because her stomach hurt so after I picked her up we went to the grocery store to get her some soup and she started shivering and her teeth were chattering and she had goose bumps on her arms the whole bit. She decided to go sit in the van because she was hurting and cold. By this evening her fever had kept going up so I called and talked to the nurse and they said to take her to the emergency room because they thought she had appendex problems. But after blood tests and such the DR examed her and declared it to be strep throat. So now she has antibiotics to take too.

Honestly tonight was rough for me on many fronts. Worrying about Kody and it will be two years this Saturday that I went to the same emergency room and didn't come home for five months and one week. I kind of wanted to cry honestly. Now I am going to go to bed. Good night all.

oh my goodness, I'm sorry I missed this! I can't believe she had all those symptoms and it turned out to be strep throat!

Glad it's nothing more serious but it still sounds like she was miserable. Glad she's got the antibiotics.

aww thanks! Actually it isn't raining anymore. Didn't rain last night either--I was suprised.

Thanks QM. I know you actually can't combine discounts but I've read in a few places that CM's can get up to a 50% discount so I guess we'll see. I'm really crossing my fingers for that good of a discount but I'm not holding my breath. The AAA discount would be just fine with me too. I just don't want to pay full price.

You know what, you're actually right. When I was looking last night the stupid web site said it updated the price when I clicked the option I wanted but you actually have to click the "update" button for the price to change. Geez! Thanks for pointing that out. It's actually a $136 difference in price between the two. Not too bad but I think I'd rather have two rooms joining than staying in the suite. I wonder if they have joining King rooms. And this also means we can stay at POP!!

I like adjoining rooms so that you have two bathrooms to get ready in. It makes for a better morning. Suites have the bad tendency of having only one bathroom.

I guess from what the Dr says often with kids normally strep present with the stomach ache and nausea. The thing is where her ppain was, the fever and all that they wanted to err on the side of caution. I happen to agree with them on that.

No she is in the southern part of the state and they would probably arrest me because I just want to slap that woman.
