The incident???? Its bad, very bad..........I dont think I could post it here.....this isn the proper forum..........You would have to go to one of those dirty websites!!!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Hope everyone is well !!!!

I cant wait for my upcoming trip to the world.....When we go, 2 guys I work with are going with their families same dates, same resort.....we are going to have a little pre-disney mixer at our house before we go!!! You are all invited!!!!

UJ
Of course I do! We might have different views of things, but I really don't see the point in getting all up in arms about it.

Yeah, he decided he wanted to go to the bar last night after his fire hall meeting. I had to have Shane call him to tell him to come home. I was feeling really bad last night and wanted to take my temperature. Joe did eventually come home and find the thermometer, but the batteries were dead in it. So he finds this other one and it turns out it is a Celsius thermometer. I have no idea why I have one of those. Anyway, took my temperature and it is 43.5. Had Kyleigh look up online how to convert it, and it says my temperature is 110! WTH? I had to retake it and then it came out normal. But I feel like crap.
Depressed about 30?!?!?! Tell him I said to quit his cryin'... he can cry when he turns 40! :rotfl2:

So you are driving? How long of a drive is that?

I rode in a car all the way to CA once... it wasn't fun. But then I was only 15 and was crammed in the back seat with my farting little brother... yeah, you'll probably have more fun!

And Vegas baby! That sounds like a lot of fun! You can stay in Vegas for cheap! :thumbsup2
Hmm...somebody has a birthday coming up soon...:rolleyes1
My nephew is too. We need to go get our flu shots but I think it is too late. I got a phone call from the girls school the other day, there were several kids sent home the other day with symptoms. I hope they don't get it. I heard on the news the other day that the cdc says that kids are hit harder by this flu than others. So for once it's good to be over 40.
They asked me in the hospital if I wanted vaccinated and I told them to go ahead and do it. I have no idea if they gave it to me though. Can't remember.
Please pray that I will be able to find a route to take home. 3 out of the 4 routes I have available to me to get home from work are now fully flooded so I can't go those ways. I have one option left so I'm crossing my fingers that that stays clear for me. I'm so nervous! Never in all my years of living in GA have I seen it rain and flood like this here. This has only ever happened when we lived in South Florida. This is just crazy!!!!! :scared1:
Well I see you finally did make it home. What is up with the weather?
hello!

Does anyone have a Wii? Do you like it? and do you use it?

DH says he'd like to get one for Xmas...I'm just scared of the $$$, although I read another thread that said the price is supposed to drop...
We have one and the kids never use it. They took it to my mom's and left it there so they have something to do when they're there. I never really bothered with it, so I have no idea what it can do. I'm sure we're missing out on some stuff, I just never had the time to mess with it.
we sure did. I was gonna have their pale ale and then I saw they had a drink called "Lit up" which was pretty much just a Long Island without the tequila...but I got it and it was delish!

the food was alright.

thanks for the info. I had to nix a little bit of the plans but was able to do most all of the "new" plans. And THEN some...I'll have to explain that later...

I bet you are SO excited! Sorry we missed each other by half a week. boo! :sad2:

I got that one too. Such a shame!

that's a beautiful bird!

I'm pretty sure kids are NOT allowed. Sorry.

Oh by the way, did I mention the free popcorn? You serve yourself. It's yum!

Hmm...I don't think it changed. I can't count how many times I heard the phrase "here are the must-do's that you MUST DO to DO the must-do's at Disney"

it's a little less walking I think. And they have the Crush n Gusher which is a "water coaster" so that is the big draw there.

Yes, we did the wave pool. And I lost my new sunglasses(from Rainforest) in it. But I found them too. Starting asking around, and just when I was about to give up, I asked one last person and he had them in his hand. :goodvibes

We did the lazy river for a while, that was SO nice. I did some sunbathing too. And we did all the rides once, including the crush n gusher 4 times -- 2 times on one of the slides, and one time each on the other 2 slides.

We totally LOVE Earl of Sandwich. I think we ate there twice last year, actually. One of THE best Counter Service restaurants on property.

Yes, of course bacon! We both got each other at separate times in the trip. Both on the bus of course. When I got him the bus was super crowded and it was dark. Since it was so dark I missed the looks on people's faces. :rotfl:

I had to explain the Grandma story to a guy on the other bus when Mike did it. It actually felt good to re-tell it, now that my Grandma is gone. We will always do this in rememberence of her.

This cracked me UP! Glad you actually checked her packing out and re-did it. Imagine if you hadn't looked!! I packed nearly everything for Mike this year. He only put in like 2 things. I then reminded him to make sure he had his sunglasses and a baseball cap. He forgot both. Ended up buying sunglasses at Rainforest Cafe (none of Disney's were good enough), and I snagged a pair there too. $13, not bad at all. Was glad he waited cause Disney's were more expensive.
Then he got a $10 hat on clearance at Harley Davidson. He was totally thrilled.

oh and he said I did a great job packing for him. He liked all the shirts I packed.
I love Disney stories!:lovestruc

What a nice way to remember your Grandma. That was such a cute story and I'm sure she'd be thrilled to know that you've turned it into a tradition.

Funny that you have to pack for Mike too. What would he do without you?
Something very touching happened to me at the grocery store this afternoon.

No, not that kind of touching... sheesh!

We were in line behind a woman and her daughter and grand-daughter. The little girl was getting a disney princess umbrella. Abby commented how cute it was and asked if she could have one!

I said to the little girl, "Tell her she is too old!"

Then Abby said, "First you tell me I'm too old to trick or treat" (just yesterday!) "and now you tell me I can't get that umbrella!"

The grandmother came up close to us and said, "I lost my daughter last year. She was killed in a car accident. She was only 21. Halloween was her favorite holiday of all! She just loved it. Everything about it."

I immediately told her how sorry I was for her loss and that I would definately let Abby trick or treat! She was happy about that and said, "You just never know what will happen tomorrow."

Then she looked at a recipe book on the rack that had Halloween stuff on it and commented how she couldn't believe it had been almost a year already.

Oh my gosh. I got all teary eyed!! :sad1:

I thanked her for sharing her story with us. I mean, I really thanked her... put my hand on her arm and told her thank you from the heart. It really made me stop in my tracks and want to hold onto my daughter and keep her safe and little always.

So... Abby will be trick or treating until she's 35 if she wants!

Anyway, I thought it was special and wanted to share. :lovestruc
Aww, such a nice story. I'm glad Abby is still getting to go Trick or Treating. That's one thing my mother would never let me do when I was younger and I really felt like I was missing out. My kiddos are going to do it until they don't want to anymore...which I think will be soon with Shane. Last year, he opted to stay home with me to give out candy while Kyleigh went trick or treating with her aunt.
Hey Gang! Just doing a quick fly by! So busy getting ready...I always think I have things in order and then there is still more to be done :confused3

Getting Disney stuff ready the rest of tonight. Tomorrow morning StinkberBelle has a field trip to a farm that I volunteered to help with (not realizing it was a day before Dis). Then we have to pickup Frasier and drive 1.5 hours to my Mom's. Plan on staying there for dinner to avoid rush hour traffic then get back home since we have to get up at 4am

Only for Disney would I go through all of this crap :wizard:

Have a great week and I might check in if I have a sec! I'm also available by text too :upsidedow

Love to all :grouphug:

Wow, you have a busy day. Have a great time and keep us in the know!:thumbsup2

Gotta go.....its almost time for 2 & 1/2 Men then the Big Bang Theory.....
I love those 2 shows!!!!!

:rotfl2: I am still chuckling over BBT!

"I want to blend in."
"With what? Toy Story?" :lmao:

Oh wow! That really got me all choked up! You just neve rknow and have to let them be kids as long as they want to be! Hold on to her tight, I still am that way with mine even though I am far away.

Thanks for sharing that Nicole!

Thanks, I'm glad you all liked it. I thought it was very meaningful.

Aw, I'm sorry you feel crappy. I'm glad your temp wasn't really 110!!! That is crazy!

Hmm...somebody has a birthday coming up soon...:rolleyes1

Don't remind me.

I meant to mention that too, Cheri. Long live bacon!

Any word from Carla yet? The pics on GMA of the Atlanta area are crazy!

So Frasier is going to stay with your mom? Chance was boarded and Merlin stayed with my cousin. Just picked up Chance yesterday and he was THRILLED to see me.

geez...sorry you feel so bad but glad your temp is normal...first one must have been a fluke (or else Kyleigh's math skills are not up to par :rotfl:)

They asked me in the hospital if I wanted vaccinated and I told them to go ahead and do it. I have no idea if they gave it to me though. Can't remember.

that's good, I hope they did

I love 'em too. Glad you enjoy them. By the way since you love my stories and pictures so much, if you want to fund a trip for me to go back I promise to take at least 20 pictures a day and facebook mobile them. :rotfl2:

I hope she is smiling when we tell it. :goodvibes

oh....be naked all the time I suppose. Considering I do all his laundry at home too.

 This reminded me that when my sister was here UJ texted her and said, "So the magic hamper in the bedroom isn't working this week." :rotfl2: Poor UJ!

In his defense, he does cook! :thumbsup2

:rotfl::rotfl2:

so does my hubby...thankfully! Cause I stink at it. I can follow directions pretty well but when it comes to making something out of the blue he is a lot better at that.

This is what I'm afraid of -- no time to play and it just sits there...I want to play but just don't...we have an old playstation...it just sits there, too...so I'm not sure why DH thinks a Wii would get used more...however, the new Toy Story game sure looks like something I'd want!

Marshay, we have the Wii. I love it. Scotty use Wii fit and does his yoga and such, I play games, and of course the kids all play games. I like the fact that the games are not quite as violent as most other game systems and it is exercise to play so many of them. One other thing that I like is you can download the old Mario Brothers games onto your Wii. And there are a lot of cute learning games for your girls.

And then I read this and think well maybe we should give it a try. At least we could get some of the newer games and definitely some games for Rachel to play and learn...

I just wish it wasn't quite so expensive...

I think that it is a game system that has a good value. On no other game system have we all played it. Most game systems Scotty won't go near. He has no interest. There are actually like 3 or 4 games he plays on this one. Playing golf and the other sports games are fun.

Thanks for this info...I was kind of wondering how this is any different...guess I need to check out the "sports" games.

What makes it different is you actually have to make the actual movements rather than just use a controller. Kaiser uses it as rehab locally at the hospital because of the movement.

Ooooo you leave tomorrow for WDW!! How exciting :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Carla, So glad you made it home safely. Kelly told me earlier and I had no idea there were floods all over up there! I hate that,it doesn't happen often here unless we have a hurricane but when ti does it sucks! Just glad you are safe!

Thanks Karen! It really is nuts. It's actually NOT raining right now. I think I may have a heart attack

I agree Nicole, Carla tell Chris to suck it up, 30 is nothing, just wait! LOL!!! :lmao:

I love Vegas, that will be awesome!

:lmao: I actually asked him last night what he's going to do when he turns 40 and he whimpered :lmao:

Well I see you finally did make it home. What is up with the weather?

I'm really not sure any more. At first I thought it was the tropical storm that was in the gulf before Cheri went to WDW but now I'm not so sure. :confused3 It's just a storm that kept building and building and just sat right over top of us for 2 days!!

Any word from Carla yet? The pics on GMA of the Atlanta area are crazy!

Thanks for thinking of me girl :goodvibes

If anyone is interested in seeing/reading about the flooding going on in my neck of the woods, here's a link to a local news station that has quite a bit about it on their site under "top stories". There's also some pictures and videos that locals have uploaded too for you to see. Frankly I'm tired of hearing about it but I'm having to live in it. I hope we don't get any more rain.

I think that is so neat!

Well it makes something that is boring and tedious and adds something fun to it.

That is just craziness. Take care of yourselves.

Oh, so maybe this will qualify under our flexible Medical savings account?:rotfl2::lmao:

Betsy and all -- have a great trip

Carla -- sorry to hear about all the flooding.

Nikki - hope you start to feel better

Ok, I'm *sorta* caught up...sorry if I missed something else... feel free to let me know! :goodvibes

Anyone watch DWTS last night? I missed it... chose to watch CBS premieres instead. Abby was watching it in my bedroom though and Tomato walked out of there at one point shaking his head. Stopped and shuddered. Then said, "Tom Delay dancing to Wild Thing. Disturbing." :rotfl2:

But got bored with it

Plus, they were having like 4 couples dance at same time and it was getting too confusing
