how cute!! Those are great pics :goodvibes

Well, we registered for the preschool. When I went to hand them a check, they said, it's not due until Sept 14th (1st day of class)...so maybe I'll still get in the other school beforehand...if not, at least we are in a school.

Rachel will go M-W-F in the mornings. Last year was just 2x a week.

yeah, the RenFair should be good. Have any of you gone to this? We did years ago. It's like Halloween for adults w/o the 'gory' stuff -- lots of princesses, maidens, knights, 'hos, etc.

oh, I really hope you somehow get into your first choice, but like you said in your other post, maybe God has other ideas...

Ok, DH and I picked out our costumes.

DH - Pirate
Me - Wench
DD4 - Fairy (Tinkerbell's dress)
Baby - Princess Tutu Onesie

I can't wait...it'll be fun! And of course we'll get pics!

I saw one of your pics in passing on FB. So cute!

ugh monsoon. It did that this morning here while we were eating lunch. It's stopped for now but there's a huge storm still coming.

Heck yeah! Can't wait to take videos. I ordered the camera I picked yesterday so it should get to me by tomorrow. This is the one I picked.

I got the blue one of course :thumbsup2

awww great choices! Can't wait to see the pictures! :thumbsup2

I sure will!! I wish you were coming too but one of these days we will get there at the same time. If this xmas goes well we might just end up there again in December next year. Haven't thought much about vacation in '10 yet but it's an option.

that looks really nice Carla. I'm jealous! hehe

Hard to believe it's Monday already...BLECH! Hope everyone is doing well! We have been running around as usual :)

My big news is DH has been planning a surprise trip for us to go to WDW later this month :woohoo::yay::dance3::banana: I was just about to go crazy because he would mention something and then I would never hear about it again. Well yesterday, he finally thought he needed to tell me so that I could help with flight arrangements and planning! This is our first trip we will be offsite. I'm a little nervous but DH has American Express pts that he can use at a brand new Hilton Vacation Club called Parc Soleil. Here is a link if anyone is interseted in taking a peek! http://www1.hilton.com/en_US/hi/hot...-Hilton-Grand-Vacations-Club-Florida/index.do
The place looks very nice and we will have a 1 bedroom suite. We are trying to be as budget friendly as we can on this trip since we have our big February trip in the works too.

Well, I'm off to do some laundry and head out for groceries.

See you soon :goodvibes

:woohoo::woohoo::banana::banana: HOW EXCITING!! I would go nuts if DH planned a surprise trip for me!

That hotel looks VERY nice. I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay there.

We went camping this weekend, went down Friday after work and got back Sunday afternoon. We went to one of the casino campgrounds as usual, but this time I won some money for a change. I cashed out a $55 ticket and a $30 ticket so that makes me feel good as I dont' normally cash out tickets. Bryan was really lucky, he cashed out a $90, a $150 ticket, an $80 ticket, and a $190 ticket. He did awesome. Then later yesterday we went to K-Mart, went to I-Hop to eat and went to Lowe's and Academy Sports and all the money we spent was cash out of his winnings. Woohoo!!:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Go you! Go Bryan! Sounds like you racked up!!

Good morning all and happy hump day. I enjoyed my ride into work this morning. No more shifting is heaven!! :goodvibes I hope everyone has a great day today.:grouphug:

uhhh....did I TOTALLY miss something???? You got a new car?!

Good Morning! I saw your pretty new car on FB! Very nice! :thumbsup2

The boys are still home sick today. Abby just left for school. Looks like another boring day at home for me. We've unpacked everything in the house. The garage has a lot of boxes still but that is not my domain!

UJ and I have decided on our ADRs and park schedule. HEY! I forgot to check hours yesterday! Off to do that to make sure we don't want to tweek anything! BRB! Then I'll fill ya in on what we're doing and where we are eating! (You know you want to know! ::yes::)

so SORRY the boys are sick!! yuck!!

Orangie! I loved your pictures! :lovestruc That park looks like fun... a little dose of Disney right close by!

Okay.... WHY don't they have MK hours posted for December yet but have the rest of them? *taps foot all huffy like*

Okay here is our tentative itinerary:

-UJ and my sis get in Wednesday night and check into POR.

-Thursday they are relaxing and anxiously awaiting our arrival! The Love Family arrives that evening sometime (depending on when I spring my kids from school).

-Friday ~ EPCOT! We haven't decided on lunch but hope to have ressies at Whispering Canyon for dinner. After dinner we will probably head back to the park... don't want to miss Illuminations or a ride on TT in the dark! :thumbsup2 THEN... it is off to Pop to meet Carla and Kelly! (IF we haven't run into them by now! :lmao:)

-Saturday ~ MK! :lovestruc We'll leave there late afternoon and head back to the hotel for a rest/clean up and then head to the Poly for dinner at Ohana! Back to the MK to finish the day with some Wishes and some basking in the lovely castle lights! I can't wait for UJ and my sis to see it all lit up!!!

-Sunday ~ My family is going to HS while UJ and the wifey are lazy! They are meeting some friends for dinner at Big River Grille and we plan to have dinner at Hollywood and Vine (Fantasmic package).

-Monday ~ Breakfast at Chef Mickey's! I'm excited about this because we did this on our first trip... first morning there... at 7 am... my kids were tired and grumpy and freaked OUT at how BIG the characters were. It was not fun. At all.

Then we will have to part our ways so we can drive home and UJ and my sis can catch their flight home. :sad1:

There is our pre-trippie! :rotfl2:

woohoo! nice PTR. :thumbsup2 They oughtta have the MK hours posted by now right?

It's not lookin' too good for Cap'n Jack's! My sister said they haven't been in a long time but they used to like it so I was feeling pretty good about it...

not so much anymore. :sad2:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2273797

Any other ideas for me? We are spending the day at HS. I'd like a break in the afternoon to go somewhere else for awhile and then eat and return to the park after dinner to see the Osbourne lights and take advantage of EMH!

hmm...I was going to say Raglan Road (loved it) but then I saw you posted on your food porn thread that it would not work for the kiddos. Shoot, I just don't know! H & V doesn't appeal to you by itself? (as in, without the Fantasmic package)

It didn't take me too long to catch up. I certainly have been out of the loop.

For those of you on FB, you may know a little about this already...

Sunday night/Monday morning (around 1 am) I woke up with excruciating pain in my left side/back. I laid there for an hour in pain until Mike finally said "c'mon, let's go to the ER" so off we went. We waited 3 hours (after triage room) and still never got in. I was in SO much pain. The waiting area was disgusting...vomit bags sitting on seats, trash everywhere, needless to say we were not thrilled. I am mad at myself for not leaving sooner. We finally headed to the next town over to their hospital (St. Tammany Parish) and had absolutely no wait for care. They did a urine, then a catscan, and gave me pain meds. (first tortol(sp?) which didn't help a lick)...then they gave me dilaudad -- OH MY LORD that stuff was STRONG! I've never had it before, only heard Nikki mention it. It sure knocked out the pain. But also had me vomiting on the way home (had to stop on the side of the road a few times) and Tuesday morning. I wish they had given me phenergan along with it.

Diagnosis: UTI and kidney stone. 3mm so it's small enough to pass--so I'm drinking lots of water and hoping it passes soon. I've heard that kidney stones are as painful, or sometimes MORE painful than giving birth. So now I'm certain I can handle labor.

THEN as if that wasn't enough, the hosp called later on Monday and told me that they also saw a "tissue density" on my right ovary--meaning it's probably another cyst. I have an ultrasound scheduled tomorrow to see exactly what it is. It's at 11:15 and I am anxious & nervous to find out if that's what it is, how big it is, etc.

We will be at Epcot friday during the day. Keep your eyes open for us and I will do the same. Feel free to text me. I will text you on the sly as not to irk dh when I should be paying attention to where I am walking :rotfl2:

Of course, will see u all at the meet :woohoo:

On Sunday, we will be at DHS at night to see Osborne lights and for EMH. That one is not set in stone, as I Noticed I have allocated a lot of time to Epcot and not a lot to Mk :confused3

Warning....Christmas Day Parade is being taped Sat at MK..... SO it might be a tad crowded. Once you get past castle, it should be okay..

But walking it, it will be swarmed with people and maybe some celebrities or more like teeny boppers that abby might enjoying seeing

Thanks! We do Storyville every year. It's been there since I was a kid so it makes me feel young again. :thumbsup2

I will have to check it out!

Ok ... now that is just plain weird. No license? How does she survive? :scared1: :lmao:

Thanks!

We had a great time --- thanks! Kids hate it when you get to the top and start swinging though :lmao:

I can't drive a stick :scared1::scared1:

Sounds great! I loved Chef Mickeys when we went but my DS was none to pleased with the giant characters. I will have to dig up a pic sometime. He was howling!

no idea. I would hate not being able to drive :confused3

I'm not going to change my days for Fantasmic... it will just stay on the "next time" list for now.

Now I'm toying with the idea of leaving HS sometime in the afternoon and heading to DTD, doing some shopping and then eating at Cap'n Jack's for dinner. Since HS has EMH that night we can still go back and see the Osbourne lights and hang out for awhile before we call it a night.

Any reviews for Jack's?

Anyone else praying for cool weather? It would make going from one thing to another so much easier if we weren't all hot and sweaty and wanting to go back to the room to freshen up, kwim?

Never heard much about them

One reply so far. She said it was fine but nothing special. Hoping someone has some pics!

I am laughing picturing you shoving that chick out of your car! I am thinking you are sideways and pushing her out with your feet!!! :rotfl2:

Ugh... the boys. Evan esp. has the worst cough. And he keeps running a fever. Today is the 3rd day of his Z-pack so I'm hoping we'll turn a corner. Missing 3 of the first 8 days of school is so sad. :sad2:

I hope we overlap some! I've got mine too! :3dglasses

heck yeah...here come the foot :rotfl2:

aww..that totally sucks

Trent had a fever last night, no idea what from. Today he is fine :confused3

It's not lookin' too good for Cap'n Jack's! My sister said they haven't been in a long time but they used to like it so I was feeling pretty good about it...

well u can take boat from DHS to Epcot...any where in showcase you might want to eat?

Or what about seafood. Do you all like that? you should try Fultons Crab House at DTD? That place looks neat.

Or you could go over to boardwalk and check out Big River Grille and Brewing. That palce looks fun and yummy sandwhiches from what I hear

Hey girl

I feel so bad for you. Hope you are able to pass that stone soon.

So glad you found all of this out now before your trip. This would have been awful down there, having to spend your time at hospital

Hugs to you that you pass it fast and take care of that cyst fast, if that is what it is

I know. I think it's priceless!

She took about 7 spoonfuls but most she pushed out of her mouth. It was enough though for her to try it. We'll do it again this evening.
