Anyone experience both (or at least one) of these? Trying to figure out which has the better view? It's a Friday night--and July 1st--so I'm thinking the Park could be packed and don't want to have to stake out a spot so early. Thanks!!

Rose and Crown gives you a side view. You cannot see any of what is happening in the giant Stargate. You can see the lasers, fireworks, and the side screens.
If the firework cruises still park by the France bridge, they will have the same issue.

The view is suboptimal with either option, since you will only be able to see the side of the Stargate.

The view is not super great from either option, but we still really enjoyed the R & C package. The food was good, drinks were included, and we could see enough of the show that it felt worth it. We'd do it again.

The views are similar from both locations, so I personally would base it on what you're willing to pay and what your expectations are from the experience. The Rose and Crown fireworks package could be a lot cheaper (depending on # of guests) and includes dinner with drinks, so that's a plus. The boats are fun and feel more special (at least to us), but they only have snacks and soda/water, so no meal or alcohol unless you pay extra or bring your own. Plus if there is lightning within a couple of miles they will cancel the cruise which happened to us this past fall and was a big disappointment.
