Here is a question:

Have you ever had your monthly 'period' on your trip to WDW?

Too much info, i know, but how do you cope with it?

i get mine exactly before we go [meaning it ends the day before we go victory is mine ]

But my sister or mom gets it so im kind of like..QUIT BEING SO MEAN! RAWR.

Any ideas on how to cope with the walking around?

There was thread like tis one quite a while ago. But don't worry. last year in June, I got mmy period the day before we left to Disneyland. I was so depressed!!!!! I got a lot of cramps that day. But then we left for Disney and I guess that Disney took my cramps away. I had no pain!! I changed at around 10 and then around 2 or 3. If you use tampons then use them. It's beter for the water rided. Well, My periodd lasts like 6 days. So Ihad my period alomost half of mty vacation. Lucky me. lol
Don't worry too much about it. I forgot that I was in my period most of the time, except when I had to go to the bathroom.lol

I've never had it when I went away. I got lucky and finished just before we left.
If I knew I was going to have my period on it, like I counted the days and stuff, I'd probably use BC to my advantage.
But that's just me.

Mydol? I've never used mydol. I always use motrin. But, hey, I'll try midol on my next period, which is in about 3 days or so. Thanks!

Motrin is like NOTHING compared to Mydol.

Okay, I will. My periods are like hell.( Ok, I'm exagerating a bitl lol) They're akiller like you said. You just buy them at any pharmacy store, right?

I've gotten my period more times than I'd like while In Disney.

The first time was a long time ago. I don't remember much, except that I was fairly upset because I wasn't used to tampons yet. Swimming was a nightmare for me. Getting this was unexpected, because I had gotten it two weeks earlier. (I was still irregular.)

The last time I had it in Disney was during my trip last May. I was a day or two early. I get the worst cramps, but walking makes you fairly active. So, I was able to suck it up and deal with the pain that I ended up not being able to feel. Another thing - my cousin and our mothers had their periods as well. Fun!

I'd suggest that if you're not comfortable with tampons yet - avoid most of the water rides or be careful. If you are, bring extras to the park if you want to ride, say, Splash Mountain. Be mindful of your body. If you're not feeling well, take a break.

Oh gosh, I had my period in the Dominican Republic before (yuck) and when we went to Universal Studios Florida last summer. Luckily, I got it at night on the last day, so I was okay.

However, I'm scheduled to get it right before vacation, if it's as regular as it is now.

I cannot take ANYTHING with aspirin, so that rules out anything but Tylenol. I have a blood disorder, and anything with aspirin could really hurt me. Therefore, it stinks. Majorly.

Midol or other pain meds=hero. Having fun at WDW you won't even notice. I would reccomend using tampons instead of pads, though. It's more convenient for walking around in, and you can swim.

Don't worry, I'm afraid of tampons too. I've tried (once) before and couldn't get it in (oh gosh embarrassing) and I haven't tried since then. I'm deathly afraid of dying and therefore afraid of TSS (even though it's rare).

I don't get cramps, so I never take anything for mine.
I just stayed away from the pool when I had it.
I hated it, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
All the walking kind of took my mind off of it. You've just got to forget about it and have fun.
