For fleas- Advantix or Frontline?

I am about to order flea prevention meds for the dog and cat. We have always used Frontline Plus. When I was comparing prices on different websites, several of the were stating that K9 Advantix is the preferred choice. It is on sale on the sites too, so I wonder if this is just a marketing ploy.

Anyone prefer one over the other? Any info would be great. Thanks!

We use Frontline because the vet recommends it. I only use it if we're going to the lake or the dogs are spending time at the kennel. We've never had a problem with fleas or ticks.

Tried both, had major flea problems, Frontline won.
