8 years of consistent assaults on President Bush by Democrats will not be forgotten. I must admit, I missed the part where Democrats couldn't point out his flaws and suggest it should be re-written as "couldn't stop pointing out his flaws".

But after the hangover subsides, I suggest you (the non-specific you of course) get ready for an extremely difficult and very likely depressing four years for your side of the political spectrum.

First of all I'd like to know your definition of 'winning' and what you think has been won?

I'd say there was and will be nothing to win. Trillions of dollars of debt. Thousands of Americans dead and many, many more whose lives will never be the same. Iraq's infrastructure has been destroyed. Untold hundreds of thousands of Iraqis are dead or severely injured. How is that winning.

Secondly, I don't believe Senator Kennedy has yet been proven wrong.

You need to read such things as the Senate Intelligence Committee report on the misuse of intelligence. The lies of the bush administration have been well documented and it is silly to have to have to repeat these lies over and over again.

For grins, let just look at one lie-the so called mobile labs. The sole source for this statement was a guy codenamed curveball who the US never talked to directly and relied on reports from German intelligence sources. The trouble is the the Germans determined that Curveball was a drunk and a liar and told the US not to rely on Curveball. Curveball's story involved a facility in Baghdad being used to service the mobile labs. The UN inspectors inspected this facility and the US own satellite and other photos showed that the facility could not be used as claimed by curveball. The US had inspectors on the ground who have inspected the facility in question and the US ignored these facts. These facts were well known to the world and yet, the bushies had Sec. Powell go before the UN and repeat this crap. It is no wonder that the rest of the world laughed at the bushies because they had the real intelligence and knew that the bushies were lying.

Using crap intelligence like curveball is just one example of the lies told by the bushies. The intelligence was fixed to justify the war and it was no wonder that no WMDs were ever found. Again, when the US used intelligence that the CIA was told was false and did not disclose the fact that much stronger intelligence disputed such claims and that is called a lie. Making a statement such as the claims by the bushies knowing that the sole source for the intelligence was unreliable and that inspectors on the ground had disproved such claims constitutes a lie under the legal definition of fraud and misrepresentation.
