? for Disney employee/cast members?

My husband is about to accept a job with Radio Disney. This take a little time and he was not able to talk to anyone about this yet. He worked there years ago and I remember we got park tickets for Christmas but are there other discounts for employees (is he considered a cast member at Radio Dis?) We are about to go in a few weeks and were waiting to buy tickets until we find out.

he does not want to be pushy w/ asking so I thought I would inquire here if anyone knew. Also any discounts in the parks? You can PM me if thats' more appropriate.

Any discounts he may have -- I'm not sure what you get as a Radio Disney CM -- probably won't kick in until after 90 days. All new CMs have a 90-day trial period during which you're a CM, but you don't have any of the perks. Once you "go perm", then those apply.

His level of park / ticket benefits will depend on whether he's full or part time, management or hourly, and a host of other factors. The only way he can know for certain what he'll be getting is to ask the Radio Disney folks. I know that the Radio Disney park / ticket benefits are not the same as in-park CMs get, but I don't know what those differences are.

Thanks. I guess I should expect a 'waiting period'..too bad! He's already in the system since he's worked there before so not sure how that will play out! I'll just have to wait and see what HR tells him.

Not really. When I worked at Vista-United (the mickey mouse phone company) perks kicked in on day 1.
