So I planned a trip about 6 weeks out for a pre-Christmas trip to Disney for the family. I know from reading this forum 6 weeks may be plenty of time in many holiday destinations but not at Disneyworld. I added the meal plan because the rooms were so affordable. I attempted to make table service adr's as soon as I booked. I had very little success. Really only one ADR that we wanted at even a remotely decent time. However I did know it would be challenging so c'est la vie.
So now I have done the calling every day to see if more suitable ADR's have come available. It is a time sink but I call every day anyway. I have one day that I can't even score a sit down meal for, so that part of my meal plan for that day will be a bust unless something comes up.
So now I am sitting here thinking... does Disney have enough table service restaurants or are the exsisting ones big enough? Just looking at the length of the ADR trade/request thread makes me think perhaps I am not the only one who thinks this. What do all think Disney makes of it all?
