Apparently my niece is allergic to pull-ups, and my sister in law says "You can't find training pants ANYWHERE." (she is not familiar with the internet.) So where would ya'll recommend buying from?

I liked the Bumkins brand training pants (cotton inside a nylon shell), but they are rather bulky especially for someone used to pullups.

We like the Blueberry or Swaddlebees trainers. Right now, they have a sale going on, buy 2, get one free.

There is a whole cloth diaper community....sort of like the dis.

I would ask you question at diaperswappers.com

I am having my first and plan to use cloth, these ladies have taught me a lot.

Is she switching to pull-ups for potty training purposes? If so, tell her not to bother. They are a waste of money anyway. The quickest way to potty train is just to put them in underwear. If she is looking for the plastic underwear (the ones you put over regular underwear to help contain messes), I've seen them at Walmart and Target. I've also seen the thicker training underwear there as well.

I agree with this, however my DS needed something at nighttime since his body wasn't ready to either wake him up or make it all night. We actually got into the cloth thing late because he renounced anything "diaper-like" and wouldn't use disposables at night even though he needed them (boy, I wish I would have had a clue about all of the new styles of cloth diapers sooner!)

Anyway, we used "stuffable" training pants made by Snap-Ez.

I agree, go to the store and buy a bunch of cute little panties. If she needs protection at times, bed, car seat etc., put the diapers she is using now OVER the panties. She can still feel wet but protects the seat or bed!

Babies R Us has some if she's afraid of the internet.

They have the old school plastic pants. They also have ones that are like underwear (cotton) just much thicker.

We use Antsy Pants which are basically cloth pull-ups. Our 4 year old uses them at night. They are thicker of course. The nice thing is that they pull up and down easily.

We use cloth diapers with our one year old and are now transitioning her into Antsy Pants too for potty training.
