For Christmas, would you rather....??

These cookies are out of this world and they are packaged beautifully. Not a good idea if she's watching her weight, cause I guarantee that she won't want to share these. YUMMY!!!!!

While a cookie bouquet may be cute, bear in mind that during the holidays it may not exactly be fresh & yummy when your friend receives it  . I used to work as a baker at one of the chains that makes them, and they'd have us start baking the cookies for the holiday bouquets at the beginning of December, then stick them in the freezer til later in the month. Pretty gross. They'd be hard and yucky by the time the bouquets were actually assembled & delivered. Now, if you could go to the place where you order them from & talk with the people who make the cookies (not someone who's not "hands on" with the product but just sells as much product as possible), and make sure what you were buying was going to be freshly made, it'd be a great gift to give/receive.

But if you didn't want to worry about that, or dietary issues, a gift of flowers is always appreciated (unless of course it's from an ex who's turned into a stalker :rotfl: ) .

Mmm, any of these choices are very nice.

I personally don't like picked flowers. I have never understood taking flowers out of the ground and giving them to someone so they can watch them die inside:confused3

I don't eat cookies but I would find that a handy gift over christmas.

I am sure your friend will be thrilled with whatever you pick.

I don't know if you have ordered flowers yet or not and where you are sending them to but have you checked out Proflowers.com? They are having a pretty decent sale and I believe they come already arranged. I'm trying to decide on flower arrangements for presents myself.

I will check them out right now! Thanks :)

Ok, I think I found a winner.

and they are having a 15% off sale...thank you!! You can't go wrong with Mrs Fields!

Because it is a little hard to grow flowers outside in this;

:goodvibes

Cookies would be my first choice, but if she is a dieter get her the fruit

I like the first floral or the edible fruit the best. I would love to get either of these. The cookies not so much. :goodvibes

Really not a fan of Edible Arrangements. I don't like cantalope & everything end up tasting of it in those arrangements. I'd rather get the cookies, personally. :)

I vote cookies or flowers!

Since I am a member of sweetsaholics I would have to pick the cookie bouquet

Wow, you guys are making it hard on me!:lmao:
But I have gotten some good suggestions and I actually have a friend in PA that I could do this for as well. In the past, we have always sent a box of little gifts. I KNOW this friend would love the food gifts.
I think my first friend might like the snowman arrangement. She has a little girl who would probably like it too.:thumbsup2

I'll order them Friday and let you know how it went!

Here's another place you could look at. I've ordered from them several times and the recipients have told me they were very nice gifts. www.winecountrygiftbaskets.com.

They are a great company! I love their baskets and their prices!:thumbsup2

OHHHH, I wish I had seen these about a week ago

My daughter will be 16 on Sunday and these are so precious!!
God I love petits fours:thumbsup2

My sister got the girlie girl Petits fours for her 40th from my aunt. They were so so good. I have had the critters and the christmas ones. We have been getting these for years and they are the BEST petits fours I've ever had. Such a perfect dessert.:) I first tried these at a wedding when they were the Favor.

Flowers. Then Cookies, then edible arrangement (fruit).

I like the idea of some of the other gift baskets too.

We've been the recipient of an Edible Arrangement a couple of times. They look really cool but end up being a waste of money. No one can eat that much fruit at one sitting (and we had the whole family over for one - still left overs). In order for the fruit to remain edible you pretty much have to tear it apart that day and stick it in containers. The first one we got we tried to save by covering it and sticking it in the fridge. NOT pretty the next day. The next one we tore apart - feeling pretty bad about it since it looked cool and we know it's expensive. Basically ends up being a REALLY expensive fruit salad.
