I had my ADRs all planned out, untill I keep reading great reviews on Ohanas. I have planned a breakfast at Kona b/c I love the tonga toast, but I am the only one that eats it. The rest of my family gets the platter, which sounds like Ohana's breakfast. Would it be wrong to order the Tonga from CS and bring it to Ohana's are is that tacky???:sad2:

No, you just put the idea in my head now! :rotfl2:

I've been wanting to go back to the Kona Cafe for breakfast for years now. But with the kids, breakfast is all about the characters. So this trip we're trying Ohanas based on the wonderful reviews.

I know you can order a pot of pressed coffee from the Kona Coffee Bar. I wonder if you could order Tonga Toast or the Macadamina Nut Pancakes? I'd love to try those pancakes :rotfl:

We love both but give the edge to Ohana because of the cinnamon rolls and the pineapple bread...the fruit is delish and it is all you can eat and DH loves that.

Kona is great too and is slightly quieter than Ohana

I might be wrong, because we haven't tried this, but I've heard that if you're having breakfast at 'Ohanas, you can ask for tonga toast and you'll get some for a surcharge.

It sounds believable to me!

Unfortunately you can't get the pressed pot at the coffee bar. I tried last December and they only sell the kona blend. The pressed pot is only at the Kona Cafe and they won't sell you one unless you're seated in the restaurant. We went through two pots when we ate there and I wanted one another day but had to settle for the kona blend at the coffee bar.

From Ohanas, you can order a pressed pot of coffee. I thought it came from the Kona Coffee Bar? :confused3 Where ever it comes from, I hope to get a good cup of coffee that morning :rotfl2:

I know you can only order pressed pots from restaurants, I've done it before. I wouldn't think to order a pot of coffee from a coffee bar.
