For boys ony!

Actually, our boys loved the Knight Package at BBB. I'm the mom of three boys, and not a princess fan myself, but they saw the Knight Package on the website and really wanted to do it. It was a fun way to do something in the castle without a CRT reservation (although we've also been there) and they walk away with fun hair. So at their request, we booked the Knight Package for all three and it was a ton of fun. I think they were 4, 10 and 11 at the time. It was an amazing value at only $15 per child (looks like it's $18.95 now) and included the following:

1. Sword and shield. Both of these items were relatively high quality - very sturdy. And they stood the test of time - the swords/shields are almost 3.5 years old now and even though they've endured countless sword fights, they still stand strong in our sunroom. I'm sure the retail value of these items exceeded the cost of the package. Again, not sure if the sword/shield are different now, but these were great quality at the time.

2. Spiky hair with choice-of-color gel (we went very easy on the color - just little bits,) Mickey confetti and the famous mickey head in the back. Our boys all have very short hair, so a little bit of spiking in the front was cute and didn't look too crazy. It was very festive and they didn't wash it out for a couple days.

3. Knights Oath and a few fun papers regarding their knighthood.

Hey My DS saw a mickey head on a little boy in a video. I read they used to do this at harmony barbershop but do not. Did you do this recently and did they still put the mickey head there.
I also have been hearing how so many boys were disappointed in this and that it only took 5 minutes to do but for that price Its not bad.

Is there really that much more "for girls" at Disney than there is "for boys"? Tomorrowland, Adventureland, Frontierland........ all strike me as being very boy oriented.

And besides...... isn't Prince Charming's Regal Carousel for boys? ;)

You are right but the princesses are so everywhere and while my DS enjoys the princesses at this age, a boy is meant to be a prince. The meals are geared more for princesses/ girls. They have stuff just for them. I am not sure about anyone else but I am not letting my little boy dress up in a princess gown. Even the pirates league has a mermaid package.

Toy Story (Midway Mania, Buzz Star Command), Nemo (the living Seas/Turtle Talk), Cars tie ins (Lights, Motor, Action!), Monsters (Laughfloor), Aladdin, ALL THE MARVEL-VERSE, all the STAR WARS verse, Pirates, Mickey/Donald/Pluto/Goofy, Space Mountain, Everest, Dinoland USA and ride, Test Trak (more cars, we know boys love cars), Stitch, Tower Terror isn't all princesses, either. Muppets?

I think the boys are dead even with the girls, and a lot of it is great for everyone. (For instance, I know a lot of boys who like meeting the princesses. I also know one 3 year old who told me "I don't like the princesses, I like the PRINCE!" boy is her mom in trouble...) I mean, we all like the Pixar Stuff and most of us don't find it torture to sit through Voyage of the Lil Mermaid either (if its a good Ariel.)

Disney really has something for everyone!

We just went with an 8 yr old boy, he LOVEs the Scavenger P thing at Ep, Everest and Rockin Rollercoaster (first time tall enough this trip) are his favorites. He never thinks its only about the princesses... (although I do! ::yes::princess::snooty::rotfl2:

Build a droid in DHS.

Also went you guys are saying "scavenger hunt in MK" do you mean the "Pirate's Adventure: Treasure of the Seven Seas" one that is like Agent P in Epcot? Just making sure I'm not missing something!!

I haven't done the Agent P , so I am not sure. The KimPossible one was the last we did in Epcot and we did not enjoy that one.

This is A pirate's Adventure in adventureland. It was cute, much easier/ quicker to find the objectives and then a bit interactive with the magicband. Not so much an attraction itself, more like a nice break from the attractions.

Swiss family treehouse: yes, it's really a huge line pretending to be a line, but it's still pretty cool. Plus, the actual movie is about a family with three boys, so it's a great thing to watch in general.
Crystal palace: It's a little different than all the girl buffets.
Mice boats!!
Hoop- Dee-Doo- Revue. My boy loved it, lots of broad comedy and the ability to make lots of noise on washboards at the end.
