I was shocked from sleep early this morning by a phone call to tell me of Bev's sudden passing. I have known BL for quite some time. She and I were alot alike...mainly hard headed to a fault.

On her last trip down here to her favorite place I took her and Aryn out to dinner at Plant Hollywood and we had a blast. Aryn is just the sweetest little girl.

A few months ago we had a falling out over things that I really don't even remember now. We both said somethings that I know we didn't mean. When my Mom got sick a few weeks ago BL sent me an e-mail. This was the 1st time in months that we had communicated. She showed genuine concern for my Mom and wished only the best for her and for me as well. All was forgiven and put behind us I am told.....

I meant to respond to the e-mail......I got so busy I kept putting it off. Now I am deeply saddened that that I didn't take the time to respond to her. To thank her and to say I'm sorry.......

I can only think of this way to do it........Bev thanks and I'm sorry...
Aryn will be in my heart always...........LY MI....

My deepest sympathy for Bev's family and all the dear friends she has left behind.....Rest in peace Bev......I'll miss you.....

Oh Tony......those little if's will haunt us
forever. I'm sorry you didn't get back to BL, but you couldn't have known her life was suddenly ending. A sudden death leaves love ones and friends scrabbling around with what if''s and if only I had known.....(((huggs))) I know, I'm in shock as I knew her too. She was the first Diser to reply to me.

Tony, you are only human. I was also thinking today that I should stop and smell the roses more often , and make time for the people I care, but sometimes that's not an easy thing to do.
Beverly knows how you feel, I'm sure of that.

Tony that was so touching. I knew you and BL had your differences but she never ever wished anything but good things for you. I know that at one time she considered you one of her closest friends.

I was emailing with Beverly early last week and I was so busy and told her how John-Cole had a volcano that he had to do and I had no idea how to do it because I am NOT crafty.....within 10 minutes she emailed me back with links to how to do the volcano.

I also told her about the hypoglycemia that the Dr. said I had and I was wondering if Atkins would help...within 10 minutes she emailed me links to the diet, to receipes and other things that might help me.

When my great aunt died that I was very close to I got a sympathy card in the mail. I guess what I'm trying to say is that she was always there for me......and I will miss her so so much.

No longer put off that phone call or e-mail you've been meaning to send. Do it now!

Take the time to say "I'm sorry" or "thank you" or whatever you've been meaning to say. Life is just to damned short. We all take for granted that there will be a tomorrow.

Tony, as I keep telling you - she already forgave you. She cared alot about you & knew that the things you two said were just you guys blowing off...

You guys really were alot alike, you know. Maybe that's why I always cared so much for the both of you - why we were all drawn together & even why you guys became estranged.

Thank you for sharing that story because I think there is such an important lesson in there. I'm sorry for your hurt.....

Tony, I had something kind of similar happen to me. You have to let it go and forgive yourself. It certainly teaches us that time is not on our side.
