For AP holders....Fall Backstage Pass is online

I liked receiving the backstage pass booklets. I'm glad they're online. Thanks Molly!

been an annual pass member for 3 years but premium and live in San Jose( northern) California. Ive always gotten them however not this issues just yet

I also wanted to add, unless everyone knew this and I just figured it out (well, maybe last month I figured it out) that if you have an expired AP you can still log into the AP site and view all it's features.

My AP expired in May and I have no renewed yet. I can still log into the AP site and view everything.

Just wanted to share. :)

Thank you! I was feeling disappointed I could read this anymore since ours expired in July. Maybe they want to remind you of what you are missing. But I was happy to go see I could still get to the AP section.

Norcal here, and I've never got one in the mail either.

Ugh there is an ad for AP rates and it's still the stupid AP8 lol

That was the first thing I noticed when my Backstage Pass magazine came in the mail too! I saw it in the mailbox, yanked it out, noticed the front flap with hotel rates, eagerly looked at the tiny print and.....again, rates that expire at the end of September - just like all the rest of the offers I have gotten since about May. Not a singel darn thing about good rates for October and on to December.:headache::mad:

I used to get the mailed edition of the AP newsletter but have not gotten one since I renewed in June. I should have gotten the one with the Dragon cover before my pass expired but I have yet to see it. Now that the new one is out, I have yet to receive my copy of that one as well. My question is, 'Is there any way I can have my name added to the AP newsletter mailing list? Shouldn't it be added automatically when my new pass was activated?'. I get the other magazine on schedule (even though I don't have kids living at home anymore). I would rather receive the AP newsletter than the Family Fun magazine (I REALLY miss The Disney Magazine!). I mean, I don't even get an e-mail from Disney notifying me that the new AP newsletter is out. They e-mail me for other things (usually "opportunities" to purchase exclusive merchandise) but not the newsletter.

LUCKY people still getting them in the mail! I haven't gotten once in nearly a year, and the CMs who post on here (glendalais in particular, I believe, not sure if albort has chimed in) have mentioned that they've done away with mailing them. Harumph that that's not totally true and that it's just not me.

In my defence, I've never mentioned anything about mailings of AP Newsletters one way or the other, at least as far as I can tell.

That's not really my area of expertise. All I know is that when I left DLR, they still had them out for Cast Members to take copies of backstage; and that the equivalent Mickey Monitor publication here at WDW is still mailed out regularly (indeed, they used it to offer WDW APs a special discount to share with family and friends this past summer).

Hmm, well who was it then? Mysterious....

All I know is that I haven't gotten one in ages!

That said, they are full of outdated, useless information (though perhaps *interesting*), so I guess I can deal with not having the waste of one mailed to me, if I'm just going to get annoyed at having a FALL magazine advertise rates for Summer and 8 days into Fall.

Harumph.

But I'm glad my original, happy, pollyanna (no idea what was actually in the magazine) post helped some people who enjoyed reading it. :goodvibes

I upgraded to a Premium pass sometime at the end of Spring. I live in SoCal. Should I have gotten this by now? Who do I contact?

Just talked to my friend here in Phoenix and she mentioned that she receives the AP magazine, so that kind of blows the whole southern CA theory.....:confused3

I found out my first copy did arrive a couple of days ago. It looks like one of the many ads that come in the mail. SoCal.
